There is nothing better than having one tool to meet all your needs. This is it. Smooths everything evenly, great find.Incoco makes great products and I just love the way this 7 Way Buffer does the job. I just wish each section was labeled to tell you what they are used for. Cheap Sally Hansen Lavender Spa Wax Remover Kit For Body

I have been using this product for a while--and it is getting increasingly difficult to find in stores. It is SO much less expensive than going to the spa for a leg wax, and it is very effective at removing hair. I would say that each jar gives me about 3 waxes-provided that I have enough strips left-although it gets a bit less effective as I get down towards the bottom of the jar & I have to keep reheating to keep it from getting to glue-y. I also find it to not be irritating at all--I'm not sure if the oil that comes with it actually does something, or if the wax itself is just more gentle.
Forgot to Mention: The purple oil that comes with the wax is also about the only thing that will help REMOVE the wax once it's on something. I've gotten it off of glass, my skin/ nails, and a ceramic counter by pouring on a little wax and then rubbing it off with my hands/ scratching it off with my nail. I dont know if it would work miracles on clothes or other fabrics as well, but its best you dont try to tempt fate!!
I typically have to reheat the wax 2 or 3 times during the waxing process because I find it most effective when the wax is somewhat thin. I agree that it is a serious pain to clean up--if you get it on any clothes/furniture, etc, forget about it. I always sit on the same towel when I wax my legs, and no matter how many times i wash it, the purple stains remain. So be careful.
After trying several brands of home waxing kits, Sally Hansen's Lavender kit has become my preferred choice because it has the best value when it comes to price and effectiveness.
Why I like this product:
One tub of wax easily lasts through two full waxings (arms AND legs) plus several minor waxes (underarm and face).
Compared to other brands (like Nair's microwavable wax) this one is strong enough to remove short or thin hairs without repeat applications.
The formula has a pleasant smell and is gentle enough so as not to cause prolonged irritation (you will get redness after the wax, but the oil helps soothe your skin faster).
After prolonged use, the hair will grow thinner or even stop growing in some areas!
Complains about this product:
Like it has been stated before, it is a mission to clean up the wax once it's spilled on clothing, countertops, or other surfaces; just try to be extra careful when applying.
I wouldn't recommend this wax if you're planning to wax deep in the bikini area... you need to make sure your skin is taut during application and once the wax is stuck there clean up is not as easy as soap and water. For this kind of waxing seek a pro (or a talented friend).
The wax needs constant reheating. I also used to be annoyed about having to run back to the microwave during waxing, but that was finally solved by placing the wax tub on a candle jar warmer Ganz Inc EJ6826 Jar Candle Warmer. Heat up the wax once, then place it on the warmer and it will keep the right consistency.
Not enough strips. Even if you are reusing the strips as much as possible, you will probably fall short on sheets. Just buy an extra pack of strips at your local beauty supply, like SALLY'S. I use these GIGI Large Muslin Strips 100-ct. 9" x 3".
The jar lid gets stuck. Just don't try to screw it back on... once you've used the product, tap it on so u know it's closed and store the container in an upright position.
A few tips for anyone new to using this product, (Read the directions first of course!)...
1.) Have extra strips available (Nair has them). Pre-cut the strips if you are doing smaller areas... you don't want to have to struggle with this while playing in wax!
2.) Have oil and cotton balls to remove the wax available (I use vitamin E oil) and a trash bag to dispose of them and the wax strips.
3.) Setup an area where you are going to use this in advance. Make sure it is clean, neat and that you don't have carpeting or clothing in the area where this is going to be used... smooth surfaces only! If you are doing a large area like your legs you are going to have to reheat the wax and you don't want to track wax across your house to the microwave so have flip flops or old socks available to slip on.
4.) After your skin is clean apply some powder, this will keep your skin from bonding with the wax and you will be less likely to rip your skin off. This is one of the most important tips IMO.
5) Don't overheat the wax and don't continue to use it when it cools down and gets thicker.. reheat! Also don't apply too thick of wax or the strip won't bond with all of the wax and when you pull, it will HURT!
6.) Don't go over the same area you have already waxed or you are going to have severe redness and maybe even bleeding... take your time and get it right the first time.
**UPDATE** --July,16,2010--
Nearly a year later now.... I'm Increasing the rating for this product from 4 stars to 5 because it seems to be the most effective. Really messy but it works well if used Correctly! So far its either Sally Hansen Spa Body Wax Lavender for me or Shaving, nothing else seems to make the cut (although I'm always looking for an easier solution). Recently I bought the "Braun 5270 Silk-épil X'elle Body System Epilator" and "Moom Organic Hair Removal Kit, Tea Tree, 6-Ounce Package" and although both are very different products, they both had the same end result.. Too Long Of A Wait! With Sally Hansen Spa Body Wax Lavender, I can almost wax as soon as I see the hair and the hairs gone for a while .. with no repeating. It's the most effective hair removal I have found.

I used to go to a spa every month to get my legs waxed. Shaving irritated my skin too much and hair removal creams didn't have the long lasting effect that results from waxing (plus it's very messy!).After trying several brands of home waxing kits, Sally Hansen's Lavender kit has become my preferred choice because it has the best value when it comes to price and effectiveness.

This wax is a painful sticky mess that rips off skin. I thought my technique was off, so I bought some hot wax because I could not stand having one waxed armpit because this wax ripped the skin off and it was too painful to continue. Needless to say the hot wax (strip free) was AMAZING! I have one raw red armpit (from this product) and one baby smooth irritation free armpit (from the hot wax). Buy strip free hot wax!!Honest reviews on Sally Hansen Lavender Spa Wax Remover Kit For Body
I am no professional with waxing and I don't do it all the time because it is a mess and a lot of work but when I do, this is the only product I will use. My complaints about this product are that it is pretty hard to find, there aren't enough strips and the removal oil is not great. Also it is a mess but I haven't come across any similar product that isn't... its wax and wax is messy! The things I love are the smell, the color and that it is very effective when used correctly!A few tips for anyone new to using this product, (Read the directions first of course!)...

Sally Hansen makes some good products, but this is not one of them. The wax is super-sticky, and impossible to remove neatly. It left my skin super-irritated and red for days. Avoid at all costs!Friday, May 23, 2014
Best Sally Hansen Beauty Tools Mighty mini - Tini-Tweeze Slant Tip Deals
I love Sally Hansen products, because they've never let me down, but I just didn't like this mini tweezer.
I picked it out because I had a Revlon tweezer before with blunter tips, but I thought that a sharper-tipped tweezer would do a better job at getting stray hairs. The Sally Hansen Mighty Mini has a very, very sharp tip. It comes with a little plastic covering for the tip that you slip on the point so that it doesn't inadvertently stab something (because it is that sharp). The plastic cover didn't really impress me much, though, since it it extremely loose and will slide off if you turn the tweezers upside down with the cover on. The tweezers themselves, though, are very well made.
To the actual tweezers, though: they're uncomfortable to hold, and they feel awkward and bothersome at first since they're so tiny. Once I got used to the feel, I thought I would be fine, but it turns out that the sharp tip of these tweezers actually ends up working against me: it is necessary to grip brow hair firmly to pull it out, but when you apply a bit of pressure, brow hairs will sometimes be cut where the tweezer tip grips them. Because of that, these tweezers are useless to me.
Buy a larger pair. And also, a sharper tip will not allow you to better get stray hairs; it will cut them into shorter, stubbier hairs that are absolutely impossible to pluck until they grow out more.

Best Sally Hansen Salon Effects - Bling it On (2-pack) Deals
I bought some of these at the drug store. They are AWESOME! You peel them, stick them on your nails, smooth them out then file off the edges and PRESTO, you have cool flowered nails! The "Girl Flower" pattern is super cute with fun colors and nice detail. These come in many different patterns and colors...I would LOVE to see them come out with more styles. These are a lot easier than using nail polish, they last just as long and there is no mess, no bottle to spill or break, no nasty chemical smell and no hassle. I doubt I will ever give up traditional liquid nail polish completely but I will certainly be buying more of these. They are a lot faster, you don't have to wait for them to dry and they come in many patterns that would be impossible to duplicate with nail polish. If you want to put a clear top coat over them they actually last a few days longer than nail polish. They also come off easily with regular nail polish remover. This is a great product!
They stayed on for about a week and a half. They looked really good, and I was getting a lot of compliments on them, until the pieces near the cuticle started to snag in my hair in the shower. I still think that 10+ days was pretty good for me. I was doing dishes every day, plus I have a baby and toddler that I was bathing every day, and showering myself. Along with being at the beach and swimming in the ocean, 10 days seemed pretty good to me. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is because of the snagging. When they started snagging and flaking near the cuticles, they looked bad. And they were so irritating, that I felt like I had to take them off. They also took a good amount of time to remove and a lot of cotton balls. Overall, I think they look and feel great! I already bought three other patterns for the fall. Hopefully, next time it won't take me as long to apply.

This product applied really easy but I dont recommend trying to do it in a hurry because you have to make sure to cover the whole nail and make sure the strip sticks securely. The strips are of good quality and dont look cheap or tacky. trying this product has hooked me and now I want to try the other patterns!Best Deals for Sally Hansen Salon Effects - Bling it On (2-pack)
I love this product! It is so easy to apply and so far it has withstood all of the hand washing i have to do throughout the day from taking care of my son. I hope it lasts more than the 10 days it says it does, but if not, i will definitely get another pack from walgreens.Honest reviews on Sally Hansen Salon Effects - Bling it On (2-pack)
These are the best invention! It took me about 30 minutes to do because I wanted them really neat and flawless but they couldn't be easier! In each kit you get 16 polish strips. My nails are about average length. I managed to use only 1 pack of 8 strips to do both hands so I have another 8 to use at another time. (This listing is for two kits 32 strips.) I painted my nails first with Sally Hansen Hard as Wraps because my nails are very brittle. I washed my hands and used the smooth side of the buffer to ready my nails. The polish had no trouble adhering but the packaging doesn't say if applying clear coat first will lessen it's stickiness. Other than that concernthey are magic and so cute!Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Sally Hansen Salon Effects - Bling it On (2-pack)
I bought the Girl Flower pattern for my first try. I was getting ready to go on vacation to the beach, so I figured this bright colorful pattern would be perfect! It took me about an hour to put them on the first time. I also put a clear coat on top of it, so that it would last as long as possible. The directions are pretty straight forward, except when you get to the part where it says to "file" off the excess. The file would not work. I ended up using nail clippers to clip the edges around my nails. It worked and looked great, so it didn't really bother me.They stayed on for about a week and a half. Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Sheerest Cream Blush, Sunrise .1 Oz Review
I was looking for a peach blush, as I don't really like pink, and I go for more of a natural sunkissed look with my makeup. This one worked out pretty well, but it's not a bright, pastel, peachy color if that's for what you're looking. It is more of a burnt apricot kind of like a peach bronzer. It does have some gold flecks, but is not overly glittery. The texture is good, but this definitely looks better as a topper to a tanned look.

Cheap Sally Hansen Lipnotic Gem Gloss, Sparkling #6643-45.
I had purchased this product over a year ago (on clearance for $1) and fell in love with it! I usually put on a darker lip gloss and then give it the once over with this to give it more moisture, shine and sparkle and to make it last longer. Since it does seem to last much longer on my lips than other lip gloss, I sometimes I use it alone. Most ppl seem to like the way it looks and my lips love the added moisture as they tend to get really dry in the winter. I had not been able to find this particular kind and shade anymore until I Googled and found it on Amazon.
I am bit disappointed that the two that I ordered are not quite up to par. They seem to be old or something because they are a very thick, almost gooey consistency and do not contain a lot of moisture and oil as the previous one that I purchased in the store. I suspect that, perhaps, this is a discontinued product (the reason why I could no longer find it) and these are left overs. I would never be able to wear this lip gloss alone as I did the one I purchased in the store but I still like the way it looks when combined with some of the darker lip gloss colors. It still adds a nice sparkle to them.
