I have tried almost every brand of nail polish out there, including OPI that everyone seems so fond of. I remember spending nearly forty dollars on OPI and the bottles dried out within a week and every time I painted my nails, it would all chip off within a day or two. I do a lot of art and organizing, so it is essential that I have a nailpolish that is remotely heavy duty. This is the best one that I was able to find. Not only is Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear line very affordable, it offers a wide array of colors that makes it appealing to the masses.

I currently use the black and the gunmetal as pictured on Amazon. I am very satisfied with the amount of time I can keep these on without chipping. I would say, if you take good care, these will last a week without being disturbed. Occasionally you may need a touch up, but these last long and for a price you truly can't beat. With a topcoat this can last even longer, but I just don't have the time or the energy to apply one.

Mostly all pros with this. They start getting drier and less liquidy after a few months, but add a few drops of nailpolish remover and it should be as good as new. The only real con is the drying time. I always apply two coats because it lasts longer that way and the nailpolish is much more visible. It takes about two or three hours to permanently dry. Sally Hansen does also sell a topcoat that dries the polish instantly, but I have not really felt the need to go that far into my manicure. If you have a lazy afternoon in front of the TV or computer, these are great. What's even better is that the excess comes off with water. You don't have to spend a long time scrubbing with a q-tip and nailpolish remover what didn't come off the first time.

This is a really pretty nail polish. I wore it to homecoming twice, because it happened to match both a blue dress I wore, and a grey one. The polish wears really well, and doesn't come off or chip for quite a while. There is a price to pay however; it takes a very long time to dry. The dry time wouldn't be a big deal, but you need 2-4 coats to look good(depending on the thickness of your coats). So it's definatly not one of my top favorite polishes, but that's okay because it's still pretty ;)

Lasts long, best line in this brand. I get so many compliments on the gunmetal color! I have had one bottle for many years and never had it turn goopy.

These were cute. A little lighter color than I prefer, making the pink blend in with my flesh tone, but cute nonetheless. Easy to apply. They are a bit flimsier than the Sally Hansen Nail Polish Strips. That is good and bad. It made them easier to apply but also more prone to damage.

I highly suggest using a clear top coat. They still only last about a week, not the 7-10 days as advertised, but I can't imagine them lasting more than 5 minutes without a top coat.

The reasons for the 3 stars are because of the aforementioned flimsiness but also because of the price. By the time you add shipping, it's a bit steep for something that last a week at most. I'd be much more likely to buy these more often if they were offered through Prime.

The photo doesn't do the color justice. I had a spring wedding to attend, and I needed a polish to wear with black, strappy sandals. This light and neutral, muted shade of grey was absolutely perfect. I polished my toes the night before the wedding, and a week later, they still looked great.

I tried the silver, but as a rule I tend to stay away from the light base colored salon effects. The tend to have a shorter lifespan than the darker colors. It lasted about 8 days but started chipping the first day. I will stick to my original rule, no more light colors no matter how tempting and cute they appear to be.

Sally Hansen's Salon Effects are an easy way to sport trendy nail designs without having to slave over your nails with multiple colors. The limited edition winter collection is really cute, and the polish strips are easy to apply. I can't say that I get a lot of wear out of them, but that has more to do with how often I'm required to wash my hands at work than the product itself. I've had friends who are able to get them to last longer in other job settings.

But I thought maybe it's just me being clumsy or something. Anyways, my roommate had these and so I tried them, loved them, bought the same. Cheap Sally Hansen Lipnotic Gem Gloss, Sparkling #6643-45.

I had purchased this product over a year ago (on clearance for $1) and fell in love with it! I usually put on a darker lip gloss and then give it the once over with this to give it more moisture, shine and sparkle and to make it last longer. Since it does seem to last much longer on my lips than other lip gloss, I sometimes I use it alone. Most ppl seem to like the way it looks and my lips love the added moisture as they tend to get really dry in the winter. I had not been able to find this particular kind and shade anymore until I Googled and found it on Amazon.

I am bit disappointed that the two that I ordered are not quite up to par. They seem to be old or something because they are a very thick, almost gooey consistency and do not contain a lot of moisture and oil as the previous one that I purchased in the store. I suspect that, perhaps, this is a discontinued product (the reason why I could no longer find it) and these are left overs. I would never be able to wear this lip gloss alone as I did the one I purchased in the store but I still like the way it looks when combined with some of the darker lip gloss colors. It still adds a nice sparkle to them.
