As a top coat, it is absolutely useless. If i could give it no stars i would. But since it is a pretty decent base coat, a fair rating will be 1 star. Here are my tests.

Week A: DD basecoat, OPI nailpolish (2 layers, with a day drying time between layers). Nails lasted 3 full days after 2nd layer before chipping.

Week B: No basecoat, OPI nailpolish (same drying time). And nails lasted 2 days before chipping.

Week C: DD basecoat, OPI nailpolish (same drying time), and DD topcoat after giving the second layer of polish 4 hours to dry. 4 hours later i went for yoga class, and all my nails have imprints of the yoga mat.

Week C: I refuse to believe the evidence of Week C, so tried again. On Week D, i applied the topcoat on the morning after the day i applied the second layer of polish. That night, probably a full 12 hours later, i went to bed and woke up the next morning with a smudge on a nail, probably from clenching too hard. But still, seriously? This is worse than having no topcoat!

I've never written a review before but i really feel compelled to write this because we invest so much time on our nails. I'd like to encourage better products that help us save time, effort and irritation to be developed, and ones like these to just be taken off the shelf.

I've tried several top coats, including 'quick dry' ones, and this top coat dries faster and lasts longer than the others I've tried. That being said, I always allow for extra time drying, just because with almost any nail polish, it takes several hours to truly cure a nail polish. As a painter, I paint small-scale, hand-painted pieces all the time, that I have to spray with a clear coat, and really, this process takes 24 hours and even though the same can't exactly be said for nail polish, there are some similarities.

I'm never used this as a base coat, but I'm tempted to try it. I've done all kinds of wild, crazy designs on my nails (rather thickly, I might add) and they were able to dry, and once I coated them with this clear coat, they often lasted an unprecedented amount of time, sometimes weeks. Usually, my nail polish chips literally within hours of applying it, since I am a stay-at-home mom with no dishwasher and I wash everything by hand and I also use my hands quite a bit because I am a painter and I also paint (which is very bad for nail polish).

I have been using this product for a while and consistently have had the same issues. As a base coat, Double Duty works decently. I use a lot of polishes containing glitter, and Double Duty makes it really easy to remove the polishes otherwise the glitter sticks to my nails and is next to impossible to remove. However, it also tends to peel up at my cuticles, and eventually my polish will catch on clothing or a towel and peel off in a large sheet. It makes removing polish easy and fun (but horribly unhealthy for my nails).

As a top coat, this product is the worst. I can let my nails dry for 4 hours, go to bed, and wake up with imprints of my sheets in my nails. Hours after using it, I can still leave fingerprints on my polish or smudge it. There are other base/top coats out there that are similarly priced and work much better. Would not recommend.

Well, I think my title sums it up, pretty much. As a base coat, my OPI color polish adheres very well to it after I've let it dry a few minutes. I can't use the Double Duty as a top coat though.... I wait until my thin layer of OPI color is solidly dry, then apply the Double Duty as a top coat, as thin as I can. I gave it ample time to dry afterwards, even sticking my hands in front of a fan in the hopes they'd dry faster when I realized that this, as a top coat, is quite gummy. Nearly an hour later, I had to dress and dash out the door to class. When I got to class, I saw a "gummy" gouge in my polish, along with a good-sized chip on the tips on two nails.

I don't have this problem when I don't use Double Duty as a top coat. So, as a base, it's great. Double duty, though? Not so much.

My manicure (with OPI polish) chipped off rather quickly. The base coat didn't seem to adhere well to the nail bed. I only used it as a base coat; I'd heard on the internet that it was dreadfully slow to dry as a top coat. Should I have bought from a pricier line (Seche Vite, Essie)? Maybe so.

Gorgeous and so easy to apply. I actually prefer not to use the file to remove excess because it tends to leave a jagged perforation. The wooden cuticle stick is better, or using your nails and pushing the excess down and against the bottom of the nail helps leave a clean perforation. Color is closer to a satin bronze color. Its very elegant and subdued. I applied this onto my sister's nails for a wedding. She preferred having the lace closer to the cuticle rather than the top of the nail. While application time was a little lengthier than we thought it would be, it didn't have drying time and allowed my sister to go to bed immediately after.

These are beautiful. They are very easy to apply and last at least a full week.

I've have tried many brands of these nail strips and there are only 2 I would reccomend; Incoco and Sally Hanson.

Both are good quality and work well. I love this pattern and it goes well with so many of my clothes. I cannot reccomend these enough.

Pretty but I found the stickers hard to apply and hard to take off with pure acetone. I would not use them again. Better done by a professional manicurist I think.

it does what it says and lasts/works just like regular polish. Just make sure you smooth it out and get the right size for your nail. Go a little bit bigger vs. too small.

These are gorgeous, but recommend you have longer nails to make full use of them. Otherwise, what I am doing is cutting them and using half of them for my toes so I don't waste half of each nail. They are pretty that way too, but I think on long nails and nailbeds would look better than on short active length nails like mine.

this product is terrible. the glue is very sticky and hard to work with. the nails take a very long time to adhere. it took me an hour to do one hand and then the nails fell right off!!! i would not recommend this product to anyone.

These are nothing like the Sally Hansen Nail Strips that I've used in the past. Those are a thin product, than when applied are like a couple layers of polish which last up to 10 days. These are just stickers with a strong smell that is like turpentine when you open the package. They are too thick to trim around the side or cubicles if they overlap a little there, unlike the Sally Hansen brand which can be trimmed easily using that little stick tool or even your fingernail from the other hand. It was also very difficult to get them to lie flat because of their thickness and so I ended up with little creases which were impossible to get out. The product was a total disappointment. I just pulled off the couple that I had tried to apply and dumped them. At least it was easy to pull them off.

I'm honestly shocked that these have such bad reviews. I decided to put them on today and it took me about fifteen minutes total. They were east to match up, when on nice and smooth. And they were super easy to file down. I LOVE them!

I have never used any other brand of nail "stickers," but the first time using them, I was able to apply them while riding IN A CAR during a road trip. I was able to carefully readjust them so they were straight and then press them into place. I don't have any bumps or ridges showing, and was able to trim the excess after application near the cuticle with nail nippers. They filed down just fine for me.

I love the Sally Hansen product so I thought I'd give these a try. I liked the advertising mentioning that these do not dry out in the packaging if opened (which is my only complaint about the Sally Hansen product). I didn't like these for several reasons:

1. Application was terrible. These did not stretch, therefore I ended up with wrinkles on my nails.

2. Difficult to file off excess. It left a very unprecise edge.

3. Shape of sticker was terrible, width-wise. I would have picked a larger size and trimmed down except I couldn't because of #2 above.

4. Never fully dried to where it was hard. I applied correctly (washed hands and wiped nail bed off with alcohol). I was able to easily pull off the entire sticker the next day. I can now appreciate that the Sally Hansen product dries out in the packaging if left open.

I do believe that this finger nail polish brand is a very good one, but the color does not look like it does in the picture. When I put in Red Nail Polish into the search engine, this popped up as one of the first results on the Amazon Marketplace. It was a good price, but when I received it, it was a pink color. This was not something I was looking for, I wanted Red and not Pink.

Other than that, the brand is good, I have other Sally Hansen products and it is quick drying as advertised, but this one I will not be using since I did not want this particular color. It is PINK and not RED.

I had bought a similar product from sephora and was very disappointed. I am a beauty product fanatic and love trying the latest phenomenons on the market. My cabinets are filled with all of the best beauty products out there! That said, I'm also on the low maintenance side. Sometimes I just don't feel like sitting for a manicure or spending the money. So I thought I would give these. I must admit, I was pretty skeptical. I didn't want them to look fake or like some lee on press on nail cheesy type thing. I wanted something that looked like I just got my nails done. These totally do the trick! They took me a minute to figure out, but once I did I was pleasantly surprised! They are stronger and more durable than the Sephora brand, which I did not expect, so you can stretch them and work with them to fit your nails, and they really look real and natural. They have a ton of options too, that are not too over the top and cliche like the some of the others on the market. Look, I can barely paint my left hand when I do my own nails (I am right handed and my left hand always looks like a 2 year old painted it), and I was able to this really well! Super stoked on these! Definitely will try some other colors and patterns!

This is a beautiful nail polish. It is basically a clear base that is packed with pink microglitter and a little bit larger chunks of silver glitter. This color is hands down my favorite out of the jem crush line. It is the perfect girly pink sparkle. The formulation of this polish tends to vary based on color. In this particular color, the polish is thicker and provides perfect full coverage with two coats. It dries really quickly. The only downside is that it does tend to chip and peel off quite easily. Even applying a top coat does not seem to effect the wear, it just does not stay on as well as I would like. Overall though, I really like this polish. It is much less expensive than similar glitters that I have seen, so I am willing to deal with reapplying.

I have tried almost every brand of nail polish out there, including OPI that everyone seems so fond of. I remember spending nearly forty dollars on OPI and the bottles dried out within a week and every time I painted my nails, it would all chip off within a day or two. I do a lot of art and organizing, so it is essential that I have a nailpolish that is remotely heavy duty. This is the best one that I was able to find. Not only is Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear line very affordable, it offers a wide array of colors that makes it appealing to the masses.

I currently use the black and the gunmetal as pictured on Amazon. I am very satisfied with the amount of time I can keep these on without chipping. I would say, if you take good care, these will last a week without being disturbed. Occasionally you may need a touch up, but these last long and for a price you truly can't beat. With a topcoat this can last even longer, but I just don't have the time or the energy to apply one.

Mostly all pros with this. They start getting drier and less liquidy after a few months, but add a few drops of nailpolish remover and it should be as good as new. The only real con is the drying time. I always apply two coats because it lasts longer that way and the nailpolish is much more visible. It takes about two or three hours to permanently dry. Sally Hansen does also sell a topcoat that dries the polish instantly, but I have not really felt the need to go that far into my manicure. If you have a lazy afternoon in front of the TV or computer, these are great. What's even better is that the excess comes off with water. You don't have to spend a long time scrubbing with a q-tip and nailpolish remover what didn't come off the first time.

This is a really pretty nail polish. I wore it to homecoming twice, because it happened to match both a blue dress I wore, and a grey one. The polish wears really well, and doesn't come off or chip for quite a while. There is a price to pay however; it takes a very long time to dry. The dry time wouldn't be a big deal, but you need 2-4 coats to look good(depending on the thickness of your coats). So it's definatly not one of my top favorite polishes, but that's okay because it's still pretty ;)

I ordered these because i heard unpleasant things about light under which one places her hands during a el manicure and came upon this while browsing Amazon. They are elbow length comfortable gloves with the tips open for a gel manicure. They worked great and I felt better wearing something over my hands and arms. Product does the job of protecting hands from UV lights. My hands are on the larger side with long fingers so they don't fit properly but they still do the trick.

I love my Shellac manicures but was really worried about all the negative news about UV exposure. I looked for something like these gloves online and found the Royal gloves. The salon where I get these manicures reassures its clients that the UV exposure is minimal and safe, but I'm happy to wear this protection. The skin on my hands had become leathery dry after a few months of the light exposure and since I started using the gloves, my skin is back to normal. The gloves get pretty warm when under the lights so I know they're protecting my skin. I hightly recommend this product!

I have enjoyed using the Sally Hansen Salon Effects for about a month. The Teal With It is my 3rd experience. First thing that struck me about the color is that it is much darker than depicted in the picture provided here. However, since it's already here, and a hassle to arrange return, I decided to put the strips on.

I'm thinking that this product has been on the shelf for some time, as many of the strips were too dry to put on. Even ones I have on now show early signs of peeling right off. I plan on calling Sally Hansen in the morning and get a replacement or refund.

I kind of like that color now that it's on, but just want to get it out there, that it's significantly more dark than you are expecting.

I personally found it more of a challenge to get these on not only because they were not sticking, but also because you can see every little error you make due it being a solid color. I think I will stick to designs. Overall, I spent about an hour working with these and with the designs, so far, the time has been more like 20-30 minutes.

I have used this product, with the Tea Tree Oil in it, for years and it is amazing; nothing has worked this well including expensive prescriptions (which do NOT work on this inherited skin problem on the heels!). Only problem, Sally Hansen keeps changing the packaging so it is hard to find, or not the same product read the label, look for "Tea Tree oil" in the ingredients; that's key. The accoutrements, heel wrap, etc. are worthless; the product itself is wonderful.

I have been waxing for years, and it does take years to realllllly get down the art of waxing yourself. I have tried a large number of waxes.....from cold to hot, and have found that Nair Microwavable Wax, is a complete package with everything you need to perform the job. It heats up the easiest, cools down the slowest, takes the most hair off, and being water soluble is the easiest to get rid of that sticky feeling you are left with after waxing, as well as being able to get it off of anything you may drip it on......oh, and it smells yummy !! I was lost, trying to find it in stores (and I am down to two boxes of it, I had found on sale years ago and luckily bought about 7 of them !!)....before I ran out and didnt have any to use, I checked here, and not only found it, but at a FANTASTIC price. They are $10.50 plus s/h for one box on the Nair website, and here I paid about $15 for two boxes, with free shipping, having it sent regularly. The good part about waxing, is that it comes back thinner (having to reform and push through your skin) and lighter in colour, and you will find lovely bald spots where there will never be another hair again woohoo !! My armpits have a thin little line down the middle of them, and it continues to get smaller. Girls out there that found this product didnt work for them, needed to keep on doing it. You will find, for all intents and purposes, that it is not the product, but the user of the product, that cant make this stuff work. It literally took me a few years to be good at it, and many years to start learning little tricks and ways of pulling the skin to assist in the release of the hair, as well as which consistency works best for the specific area you are waxing. You will find that you use far less ripping sheets, as you get better at the job, and will be left with leftover sheets for your next box (I used to have to buy extras, but if that happens, dont be alarmed, just know that as your "talent" increases, the ripping sheets will decrease). I love this wax, and will continue to have it delivered, until I no longer have hair anywhere that I dont want it !! :-)

Overall I would say that this product decently works. I'm a beginning self-waxer and this was easy to navigate with no mess. I only had 1 minor issue with this wax (which I kind of anticipated but wanted to try this anyway). Because it is sugar based I didn't feel like it harden enough to really "trap" coarse hair. I have a small amount stubborn, thick hair and none of it really came off. If you have coarser hair I would recommend using a harder wax than any of the sugar or honey varieties.

The product works wonderfully on normal hair. And I love that it is water soluble. It makes for effortless clean up on your body (sticky fingers included) and on any hardware spills. Also if you need more strips (which is doubtful because they give you more than enough) you can just wash out the used ones and air dry them.

I have tried so many different hair removal products and devices and this is the best! It removes all the hair the first time and washes up with plain water. No Mess! It comes with alot of cloths and I just throw each one in a bowl of water as I use them and then they just rinse clean and can be reused. I also had alot less pain with this stuff because it doesn't grab your skin at all, just the hair.

I was very excited to order this product. I read the directions carefully and tried several times, but it did not remove one hair. I was explained by my daughter that Nair products seem to work for people with fine hair but not for women w/coarse hair. I guess my italian decent is to blame. Do not waste your dollars if you know you have this hair type. What's a real bummer is that I had to buy the double pack. I hope this review saves someone the disappointment and the money!
