I recently purchased several colors of the Sally Hansen nail art pens and was very much looking forward to getting creative with my nails (without spending a fortune at a nail salon). I was very pleased and impressed with my end results. I decided to do a french manicure using a lavender polish and the white nail pen for the tips. I also thought I might try a simple flower design on one finger. The pros of the product are as follows: water based so mistakes were really simple to wipe off and start over, the tip is hard so it's very easy to control the flow, the color was solid and bright. The cons: because it's water based you need two or three coats to get the full opacity, and if you wait too long to wipe off a mistake there will be a faint stain of where the color was.

It definitely takes practice and patience. But once you master it, the results are worth it.

One of the young girls at work said they like this better than the spray because it's less messy and that is true. I love this product. For the first time in my life I can go without nylons. It is easy to put on and I don't have streaks. I am very light skinned and I can't use self tanners because they turn me orange, turn my patchy skin black, and streak. This product has a natural color to it and it's light enough that it doesn't look fake. I can swim in it and it lasts a few days. I like the way the spray goes on my legs easier, but I have to do it in the shower because it can get all over the place. Both products DO NOT bleed onto clothing once they are dry.

I have been using the Sally Hansen spray for years. I have very fair skin and I use the lightest shade they have. It gives my legs just enough color and cover up that it looks natural and makes my legs look GREAT. Although others said there was no smell, heavy feeling or rub-off, I found there is a slight smell and on hot days my legs seem to feel a little sticky. Also, I have found it does transfer (not a lot, but a little) especially if you are wearing light color clothes or shoes. Also, as everyone says, it's messy to apply and does have a lot of glitter in it. However, it does makes my legs look GREAT, so none of that deterred me AT ALL! I would have worn it to the end if I didn't find out about the cream makeup.

I just tried the cream make-up and I LOVE IT! I love it more than the spray.

1) It's not messy, no overspray anywhere anymore (Yay)

2) Easy to apply, just rub it on.

3) It dries better and stays put better, I didn't see any transfer

4) It doesn't have the glitter and since I use it mostly for work, it's much better for me.

I did notice though that when first applying it, the color looked very orange. It is a slightly different color than the spray. However once I completely rubbed it in and let it dry, it looked very natural.

I will probably never go back to the spray.......

This leg makeup is the best I have ever tried!! I love it, and it is easier to apply than the Sally Hansen spray. It is also very hard to find. I was so glad to find it on Amazon. I hope you will always carry it. I did have to purchase a pack of two. Would highly recommend to anyone.

As the previous reviewer, I used to use the spray version of this product and loved it because it covered spider veins, was waterproof, and didn't come off on clothing after dry. However, the spray could be a problem because it would get everywhere unless done in the shower or outside. Now with this lotion formula, I can control the amount I put on and it is mess free! My legs look beautiful in shorts and a dress. Just wash hands thoroughly after use. No more spray for me! It stays on all day and only comes off with soap and water.

I have used many different products to help my weak, splitting nails some of them also made by Sally Hansen but this is the only one that has ever WORKED!!! I found this product about two years ago. After years of frustration with nails that split and break before they achieve any length, I tried acrylic nails. These look good for a few weeks, but they require constant maintenance, and they destroy your natural nail in the process. After getting a nail fungus from the acrylics, I swore off of those. But how to heal my destoyed nails? I saw this product at the drug store and decided it wouldn't hurt to try it. Within two days of the first use, I saw a little growth in my nails. Within two weeks I saw noticeable growth, and the nails were stronger. Now I use this product daily and my nails are long, strong and beautiful! Since the drug stores only carry this product sporadically, I buy it from Amazon. Buy it! You won't be sorry.

I used this product a while ago and it worked well. IK used to bite my nails so I needed something to make them grow fast. I used it daily for a long time and my nails looked beautiful. Then I couldn't find it so I stopped using it. I found it again and I am so happy. I have pretty nice nails already but they are a little weak and break easily. I decided to try this again with the miracle cure strengthener Sally Hansen Miracle, Cure for Severe Problem Nails, 0.45 Fluid Ounceto see if I can toughen them up. I will post again in a few weeks to report how it does.

I used to bite my nails and I finally stopped but I couldn't get my nails to grow very long before they'd break or chip or split. I tried a few different things and then I found this by Sally Hansen and it worked stunningly!! It's sort of like a really thick nail polish that doesn't chip off because you message it in to your nails. Using this, I was able to grow my nails. What I've found works best is to put a coat of this on message it into your nails and cuticles, and then wipe off the rest. I apply it about every other day. I've recommended it to everyone I know who is trying to grow their nails out. This is an awesome product. The best one out there, in my opinion!! Try it!!!

since i always get my legs waxed, sometimes i have the problem where i have to wait for my hair to all grow back until i can get them re-done. this is sometimes a problem for me, for example if i suddenly have to go to a party and it is too late to make an appointment. i used this for my leg hair, i left it on for the full 10 minutes just to be sure, and it worked perfectly! it lasted longer than shaving and it didn't make my hair grow back thicker (then again i only used it twice). of course i did some extra steps that helped, so i'll tell you..first, don't spray it super close to your leg. spray it like you would spray a spray sunscreen but a tad closer. next, when you shower it off, after using just water grab a loofah and a good smelling body wash and gently rub your legs with it; it will guarantee full hair removal and your legs will be free of the icky smell of the product! finally, don't move super fast after using the product..it's slippery. hope i helped!

bottom line: this product works like a charm, you just have to put some thought into it. that isn't bad!

I use this stuff on lots of body parts. More than you know. More than you want to know. And it works the best of all the products I've tried, which admittedly is only about half the stuff on the CVS shelf, but on the other hand, it's HALF THE STUFF on the CVS shelf!

I comment this on a listing that's $11.99 for a can, and I think you can find it cheaper around here. Just sayin'.

I love the fact I don't have to deal with nail polish out of the container. Only thing is, I don't know why it's doing this but the nail strips tear when I take them off the backing. I can't even use the white portion to get the french look. I just use the basic color to have my nails look 'done'. The longest I've had them on without looking bad was 3 weeks. The strips don't seem to want to stick very well closer to my nail bed, but I have always had very dry cuticles.

My cuticles are in pretty rough shape because I have to wash my hands a lot with antibacterial soap for where I work (which dries my skin out a lot). I've tried getting frequent manicures and using lots of moisturizers and creams, but I saw very little change. I bought this last week and I was skeptical about it, but I tried it. I put in on at night right before bed. I rubbed the serum in for several seconds on each nail and it absorbed pretty quickly. After that I used Sally Hansen Miracle Cure Polish (in the blue bottle) because my nails are very brittle and weak. The next morning my cuticles were obviously improved. I was so impressed, but I didn't think that there was going to be much more improvement. It's now been a week and I've being doing the same procedure every night before bed and my hands look beautiful! My nails have been able to grow a bit without breaking and my cuticles aren't in constant pain like they were before. I had started using the nail serum while my mother in law was down on a visit because she has such lovely nails and I never have. Instantly I saw growth and my nails stopped breaking. I did not accredit it to this product however. I was taking some vitamins and for some odd reason I just assumed it was the vitamins and not the serum. I stopped using the serum and needless to say my nails started breaking and stopped growing. They looked terrible. It has been about 4 months since then and I just saw the serum in my medicine chest last week and remembered I even had it and began using it again.........WOW was I wrong. It was not the vitamins. Definantly the serum! My nails are growing again and my cuticles are so soft. I will never doubt this product again. This product is awesome.

I made the decision to stop biting my nails around mid-March and got this to use to get my nails back into shape. In two weeks, I had enough nail growth to file and polish. After four weeks, the free edge had reached the end of my fingers and now at around six weeks, the free edge is about 1/4 inch past my fingertips and I have filed them a couple of times. I'd say I got at least two months worth of growth in about four to six weeks. I used it twice a day as much as possible along with another of Sally Hansen's strengthening products. I believe that along with doing weekly manicures helped my nails grow out long and strong but flexible.

I'm still using it on a more or less daily basis along with Burt's Bees Lemon Butter cuticle cream, some extra virgin olive oil and Curel hand lotion. My cuticles are smooth and healthy looking and my nails don't look a bit dry when bare. They are very flexible and don't chip or peel at all.

If you have short nails and would like them to be longer, definitely get this.

It really helps to strengthen your nails! Easy to apply as a massage over your nails at any time because it's not oily, and it works even if they are already painted. The only con is that you have to shake it upside down until the serum comes out not that easy as it doesn't come with any type of brush/applier.

I love this product...it does not streak if applied properly...I have had numerous "spider veins" on my legs for years...have had them injected three times for them only to return...this product is wonderful! I absolutely HATE this product, it is a very poor product with an EXTREME price tag! I ordered this from the official site with the tv offer deal buy one get one free...yeah right! My shipping was nearly as much as my order, and it was packaged in a bubble envelope(cheap). I anxiously opened the tube and tried it...TERRIBLE!!! You would seriously get the same if not better results with a self tanning cream. It has an orange tint, does NOT go on evenly or smoothly, (similar to the applicator tip on the "nail hole filler" wall patch compound) and it DOES come off on clothes & furniture (even after a 15 min. wait)! It didn't even cover my freckles...just shows what they really do with the magic of make up artists & television! The only good thing I can say about this product is that is washes off easily with soap & water...Thank Heaven! I am so totally serious when I tell you this....PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GARBAGE!!! I guess we should ALWAYS go by the age old adage...If it sounds to good to be true, it usually is!!!

I am in my mid 40's in good shape, but have terrible spider veins, and the beginning of varicose veins due to my genetics (mom had them terribly) and my job (on my feet at hospital).

This is the best product I've tried in a long time. I bought the fair and it blends right in, no weird foundation look. I usually moisturize first in order for this stuff to spread on evenly. I either use Neutrogena Sesame Oil or St Ives Lotion, wait a few minutes and spread this over. My legs actually look good.

There is no comparison with the inferior spray on junk. It washes off too easily and looks fake up close. The Joan RIvers Bare Legs lasts in my local pool.

I have tried alot of moderately priced skin correctors and cover ups. They either don't work or are too messy. I am very fair skinned with large freckles and discoloration on my legs. Just follow the directions and it works great, without streaks. The appearance as soon as you apply it is the same when it sets. Definately recommend if you are looking in the midprice range.

I was very happy when my lip gloss arrived at my house three days early. I have it on right now, and I really like it. It's a good price, but the shipping is a bit high. It would probably be better to buy this at a Walgreens or something. Nevertheless, it's a good product and I would recommend it.
