I decided to try these out on a whim when I came across them in CVS. I've started becoming more and more into nail art, but I've never used a product like this before. The floral design itself is nice, but the background color is a greenish/yellowish color that doesn't match my skin tone well. I'd be interested in seeing how some other patterns would look, but unfortunately I'm not sure I'm going to continue using the product.

First of all, this may be something that gets easier with practice, or it may be something that I'm just personally not very good at it, but it was a tedious process that led to a somewhat unpleasant end result. It wasn't hard or difficult to master, but I felt unsatisfied with each finger I did, no matter how much patience and attention I put into it.

The stickers do not stick very well at all. I guess this could be resolved with more buffing or even a base coat of nail polish, but I decided to try this out for the first time using only what was included in the kit. So I struggled not only to put the strips on and keep them on at all, but wrapping my tips before removing the excess proved to be a real challenge.

Second of all, they chip and peel very easily and quickly after application. Again, I guess you could experiment with using a top coat, but that went against what I was attempting here, so I'm stuck with strips that are peeling.

I suppose for a younger person who just wants to try out different patterns, this could be a great start into the world of nail polish without the messy application or the terrible smell (although my boyfriend mentioned right away that he thought the strips smelled like nail polish remover, but I didn't notice any major scent). But I was less than pleased with the result of my little experiment, so I don't think I'll be spending my money on these strips again.

I just finished putting these strips on a short time ago and I can already tell that it was a waste of ten bucks. I followed the instructions very closely down to the last detail and was extremely careful when I did it. They are incredibly cheap and fake looking. Even though I used a very good quality top coat on them, a couple of my nails are starting to peel up after only an hour or so later. I've been debating just taking them off all together and being done with it. Even though they claim to be real nail polish strips, they sure don't look like it. They look like childish stickers. I would not recommend this product for the price at all.

These came very quickly but when I opened the first package I soon discovered that the strips were dried out so you couldn't get the strips to come off the plastic. I use these weekly so I know how to use them. However, these were just absolutely unusable. I am not sure if they got hot in shipping or what happened. Usually I love the Sally Hansen Salon Effects. So maybe I just got a bad batch.

These stickers require a little practice, but I got really good at putting them on after the 2nd time of using them. They look great and the colors are awesome. And if you are gentle with them and put them on clean nails they last almost 10 days. And one tip: if you have short nails, cut the strips in half and put one half on your left hand and the other on your right. That way you only have to use one 8-pack at a time and you get 2 manicures out of each box!

I followed the instructions that came with these to the letter. I found the strips hard to remove from the backing and the tab did not snap off, more like it tore and made that end unusable. The strips did not fit my nails well and my attempts at cleaning up the sides resulted in jagged edges around my nail bed. I kept them on only because I wanted to see how long they would last, as I was planning to apply the next set before going on vacation (and hoping it would go better the second time). I noticed cracks in three of the nails by the second day. I decided to take them off at that point. I used normal nail polish remover and they did not come off easy. It's possible that the removal being such a pain is that I did not keep them on very long and the adhesive would have broken down a little more after a week or so. I don't know if I just had a bad experience with these, but I think I may hate them.

The texture is nice but the color is way too yellow for my skin tone, I normally get yellow undertones because I have olive skin but this color is too yellow for me.

This brush works fine if you are painting elephant toenails! The brush is two and a half times as wide as the standard nail polish brushes that come with other bottles. There is no control whatsoever. It does not distinguish between nail and cuticle. The enamel is a thick goopey mess that requires multiple applications of nail polish remover to get off. Not only is this product a waste of money, it is a time vampire too! After applying a base coat, putting it on and having it ruining your nails and then having to waste more time to literally scrape the stuff off because nail polish remover doesn't get all of it, you will waste a precious hour off your life.

Sally Hansen should be ashamed for marketing this product let alone advertising it as a time saver!

I love these. ive read some negatives, but most of the problems that people are having can be fixed and easily. ive had a few nail strips that go on perfectly and then ive had a set that had lost its sticky. well, its a nail polish strip...whats the obvious solution to fixing that? nail polish remover lightly rubbed on the inside of the strip...works like a charm. rub enough on so you notice its sticky (once again) then apply to your nail like you would have from the start. I always add a very strong clear top coat as well. ive had NO issues thus far and I wear them for weeks at a time. lots of compliments.

This system works great but you must follow the directions in order to get the best results. I used it for New Year's Eve, and I looked tanned and healthy. If you spray on too much tanner, you can wipe or sponge it to even it out. It looks natural and lasts longer than most self-tanners and I have used most of the self-tanners out there.

I totally disagree that this product is horrible! People don't realize that you have to apply it correctly and spray evenly! I have gotten pleanty of these done professionally and I am much happier with this. It costs less and you can go as dark as you want. You'll also have to realize that if you do spray from farther away you will get really tinny spots (not leak spots) that catch on the hair (this is normal) but all you do is let it dry a bit and then dab dry with a towel! REMEMBER* apply with even stroke motions and everytime you shake it make sure you

spray on a paper towel first this will prevent splotting! Personally I don't prefer the makeup applicators.

I love it. The tan is golden brown, not orange and its easy to apply. If you lack finesse then maybe you should have someone else apply it for you. Make sure to shake as you spray, preferrably side to side as it prevents splattering, and wipe the nozzle every few sprays. I've been using this product for 7 years and Im kind of shocked that it has such a low review on here. Such a shame. I think its the best product on the market.

This color is a bit lighter than it looks in the stock photo. It's more of a peacock blue, or a medium ocean blue. Not as dark or denim colored as the photo appears. The first coat goes on quite sheer, so I've found it takes about 3 coats to get the best color. It's a great summer color for toenails, giving them a fun and bright medium blue color. With a top clear coat, the polish lasts a long time. On toenails it seems to never chip and lasts forever. On fingernails I can get a solid 4-5 days without any chipping, as long as I've applied a clear top coat. It's a beautiful color and one of my favorites!

My nails are too thin to get manicures. They sand, scrape and use chemical exfoliants all of which make my thin nails even thinner. I don't do a particularly good job of trimming my cuticles myself. They look good for a couple of days then the dryness sets in and the ragggedness shows. Cuticle creams just kind of clogged my nail bed and didn't really do much. Sally Hansen Vit E Oil is great and I'm surprised at how well it works. I put it on in the morning and at bedtime. It absorbs and keeps my cuticles and the skin surrounding my nails looking good. Highly recommend.

This handy little bottle of Vitamin E nail and cuticle oil fits nicely in your nail kit and doesn't leak like other bottles of vitamin E oil seem to on occasion. Wheat Germ oil, aloe, apricot kernel oil and safflower oil absorb quickly and keep your cuticles healthy.

Apply when your nails are polished and dry or every day as a healing treat before bed. If you massage this oil into your nail bed it will help to stimulate new nail growth. Not recommended just before you have a manicure or pedicure. Use it as a finishing touch to soothe dry cuticles.

Sometimes I run out of oil and refill this bottle with Kama Sutra massage oils or the Burt's Bees natural massage oils. You can also add some of your own essential oils.

The brush makes it easy to apply this oil and the bottle never leaks.

I've had this product a little over 24 hours and my cuticles already look and feel 75% better!

This produt is a 4,000 I.U. vitamin E nail and cuticle oil. It has the consistency of water and does not dry on like nail polish (it will never harden) so be aware of that when using it. This bottle should last you a few years as a small dab goes a long, LONG way. Absorbs ok/pretty good. Isn't terribly greasy but isn't dry to the touch either. I think i am still trying to master getting the correct amount on my nails without going overboard. I threw the package away before i got a chance to review this so i can't remember the rest of the ingredients. sorry.

Overall, I would buy this again if i had to. It's done an excellent job in just 24 hours time!

I can't give it a full 5 stars yet as i haven't had the product that long. I'll update accordingly as time goes on.

I love Sally Hansen products, this oil is what I expected...cuticle oil. I hate the top though, It doesn't secure tightly enough. I think it's on tight only to find after its been tipped over that it was not tight. Other than that its okay. It shipped fast so that's a plus.
