Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Fast Dry Nail Color, Wined Up, 0.31 Fluid Review
This is one of my favorite polishes. It has excellent coverage with just one coat, though I usually put on two coats just to be sure. The wide brush makes for easy application, even to the edges of my nail. It does dry relatively quickly when compared to regular polishes, but I would not say it was instantly dry. The color is a medium crimson with no sparkle or iridescence to it. The only complaint I have is that the polish tends to get quite thick rather fast, even though I recap it quickly after each use. Still, a good product, and one which I would recommend.

Cheap Incoco Nail Polish Strips, Blue Purple Glitter, Silent Night
I love the designs incoco offers, but every single product I have purchased are almost dried out, which makes them difficult to apply. I've even had to use nail glue to get them to stick. And you cannot keep unused one for later. They will crack in half. I'll stay with Essie and Sally Hansen. I get much more mileage out of those...

The product is fine but the color is not as pictured. The picture is frosted pastel pink, but the polish on my nails had a green tinge to it and was more white than pink. so I was disappointed.

The Sally Hansen Hard As Nails product line does was it says strengthens nails. The variety of colors also makes it easier to use all the time. This color is very nice, with just a hint more pinkish than the deep red found in other wine shades.

The ease of use alone warrants five stars. I hate waiting for nail polish to dry and inevitably end up nicking or chipping it because I get impatient. These strips are already dry, so the minute you're finished you can move on to other things. The only thing I noticed is that some of the strips didn't fit my nails, however I have small nail beds so I don't think that would be a problem for most people. But be aware, some of them do seem a little wide. Easily remedied once they're in place though, as the polish doesn't adhere to your skin the way it does to the nail. So you can simply peel or pick it off without damaging the part that's attached to your nail.

Lastly, I received great customer service from the seller of the item. I got the wrong color in my shipment, so I emailed them and asked about it. The Gold is actually metallic, and the denim is really cute. This product is so easy to apply and it really can last up to 10 days. Mine last frequently for 7, but I'm in the pool a lot. I always get compliments about my nails when I use these products. Love it!

Best Sally Hansen Salon Effects Value Twin Pack - Wild Child / Kitty Deals
This is a GREAT product!! I followed the directions to the letter, but I did do two things differently. First, I took the advice of someone and put two coats of a matching color underneath, so if some of it pealed or scraped off in the week, it wouldn't be noticed. I used a good quality brand (OPI). Secondly I used a clean over coat to help the decal not get scraped off easily. This has enabled my decal to last over a week! I'm hard on my nails. I clean, cook, bake, clean some more and I even painted my deck with this on and it's still not chipped, scraped or pealed off!
I've gotten many compliments on my nails and I definitely plan on getting more patterns!
Tips:
If you clean your nails thoroughly first with alcohol or nail polish remover, they should stay on better. Also, if you use a clear top coat over it, it makes it last for a week or more. If you're having trouble taking it off, you can soak a cotton ball and let it sit on your nail for 15-30 seconds and then rub it off. It should come right off :)
If you decide to do what I did and use a matching color underneath, make sure you use a quality nail polish. Paint one or two coats on and let your nails dry thoroughly. Then apply the nail decal as directed. Smooth it out and scrape off excess, then put clear over coat on and let dry.
Also, when applying don't cut them to fit your nail. Apply it and then pull down off the nail it tears to the shape of your nail. I use the rest on another nail, since mine aren't that long. I will use a tooth pick or nail stick to scrape off any excess and then file some of the ends that need it :)
Update 01/29/2013: I decided to deduct a star from my original review because the boxes I have been opening are all dried out. There is no 'use by' date listed on them, but be careful to get a fresh pack, or else they are just crumbly & hard to work with. I still love them though.
ALSO: I did have a bit of a problem with the strips lifting on the edges, but I found that if you use a tiny bit of nail glue and use a cuticle tool to smooth the edges down, these suckers will stay on GREAT and they still come off with nail polish remover! :)

ok, ok, that was the worst joke ever, but seriously, these types of nail products are fabulous to have in your repertoire. Why? Because you can totally add some pizzazz to your nails by adding one of these little babies as an accent nail. It is awesome. believe me. Re-reading this review, I know I sound like Blanche from Golden Girls, but whatever-it is a super fun product. I love these dang things, they are so awesome and I am addicted. I have a horrible time painting my nails because I do not have the patience to apply all the coats/wait for them to dry...and if I do, they start chipping the next day. But these are great, they are so easy to put on and you get a lot of wear out of them too. I recommend cleaning your nails really well before applying and also put a top coat on after for extra protection. I am in deep, deep love with the Sally Hansen Salon effects nail polish strips! I've been using them for about a year or so, so here's the straight dope. Reasons I love them: 1. WAAYYY faster than nail polish to apply! According to the other reviewer who said it wasn't, sure, if you're only counting actual application time, it's about as fast to slap on a coat of polish. BUT, with the Salon Effect strips, THERE'S NO DRYING TIME!! I don't know a any girl who doesn't know the frustration of waiting an hour or more for your nails to dry, only to find that if you bump them the wrong way, they will still dent or smudge or mark. It takes many hours to get a dent-resistant finish with wet polish, and who has that kind of time?!?! And when you factor in the fact that these last AT LEAST 10 days, and I can only get about 4 out of regular polish before they start to chip, these save at least one, if not two more manicures! 2. LOVE all the different patterns!! I like to mix and match. When I got this set, I did every other finger zebra/leopard. So fun! I was one of those stuck-up corporate types who got a gel French manicure every time for 15 years, so in my more-secure-with-myself 40s, I'm thoroughly enjoying having fun, crazy fingernails. The trick, in my opinion, is to keep them very short. My daughter recommended them to me. I started to doing gel sets about 6 months ago. I liked the gel set but I hated the soaking off the polish and the time it took. It is even costly when you factor in the tip. I even thought it weakened my nails but I committed to the gel set because I was tired of having man hands. I really, really like this lip gloss. The reason for the four stars instead of five is because I would like to see more colors instead of the clears and beiges in this set. Otherwise, I would recommend this. When you put it on, you can instantly feel the tingling in your lips and visibly see a difference in your lips. I had been looking for this in the stores as I have bought this before but couldn't find it; glad I found it on Amazon!Was very satisfied with these. I have really thick eyebrows, so it's a pain in the ass keeping them neat with tweezers. this makes it really easy and fast. i do pluck 3 or 4 stubborn hairs, but that's it. turns 20 min. into 2.
i will say that you should wipe down the area you're waxing with alcohol to remove any oil first. i have oily skin, so this makes a BIG difference in its affectiveness.
i've been using these for years now. i keep a constant supply.

The only reason I didn't give these one star is because the shape WAS easy enough to TRACE it onto the (MUCH more effective) Sally Hansen rectangular wax strips I had been using. I tried with washed skin, unwashed skin, rubbing alcohol, you name it.(Of course, it WAS easier to tweeze those select hairs afterwards as they were now gluey and rigid and stuck straight out.)
I suppose for reasonably fine-haired people they MIGHT work. But my brows are as black, course, and thick as Lebanese brows go. This was like trying to wax my face with Con-tac paper (At least with Con-tac paper I could've lined my kitchen drawers afterward).

I bought some surgi brazilian wax a few days ago but found it to be way to messy to try and use on my eyebrows especially since I had never waxed at home before. I went back to ULTA today and bought these to try when I got home. They were a little tricky for me to place (I had it on the wrong side of my eyebrow) but once I figured it out they were great. Took the hair off as long as I actually pulled it off quickly and did not leave any stickiness on the skin like other wax. The only trick is to make sure your skin and eyebrow hair is clean, dry, and you pull in the correct direction. I really can't understand how anyone could not get this to work for them!?! Since these are already perfectly shaped, it's so fast to get it done right. It does leave me with a little redness, so I usually do these right before I go to bed. No sign of redness by morning. I usually do not have to pluck any, but occasionally there is a stray I didn't get under a strip that I'll just pluckuser error there. Invisible lip liner . really helps keep lipstick from bleeding. I would recommend it to my friends. The problem is it is very hard to find in durg stores. I looked everywhere and finally had to order it on line. It was dilivered very promply.

Best Incoco Nail Polish Strips, Pink, Bubble Gum Deals
These just arrived yesterday and I'm already IN LOVE with this product! They didn't take more than 20 minutes to apply and were very "forgiving" of my fumbling. This isn't to say I could apply them with a toddler jumping up and down on the couch next to me, but my "large" dog did plenty of wriggling around against me. :)
These aren't the first appliques I've tried, I've also used Sally Hanson just because they were more accessible. After the Sally Hanson one's seemed to go ok, I decided to bite the bullet and settle in for a wait for these. And they were well worth the THREE day wait (*pshew* that was rough, lol).
These are "thinner" than the Sally Hanson type nail strips, if you have ridges in your nails, they do show through. Now this is fine for me, I'm fortunate enough to be able to grow my nails out pretty long naturally; so showing off my good genes is a-ok with me. Curious to see if these would masque deep ridges, like I have on one of my big toe nails, I did apply two appliques directly on top of each other. I just wanted to see what would happen and how it would look, the out come was a perfectly smoothed and buffed acrylic nail. This was also a bonus, as I worry about buffing too much close to the free edge of my toe nails. (if you've ever over buffed a finger or toe nail, you know exactly what I mean.) Like I said before, I'm fortunate to be able to grow my nails out pretty long on my own, but I've always been able to get them even longer if I can keep them polished. But as most seasoned polish users know, polish doesn't flex with natural nails very well. My hope is that by using a wrap, the applique won't get as brittle as regular polish does, and last much longer. If this review is more than two weeks old by the time you're reading it, then my plan was a success... should it fail, I'll be sure to update.
*** note: don't put a top coat over these within the first 24 hours, it doesn't seem to be necessary or beneficial. In fact, all I accomplished was making the strips bubble a little; just like regular polish would if you put on too many coats too fast. My bad, but they still look great and I got a lot of compliments on them!
DAY 6
Nails still look great! They've stood up to hand washing some dishes, lots of typing and even WASHING a super dirty large dog. (someone got into a nasty bog of rotting plant material on a hike, but I'm not naming names...) Not a crack, chip or any lifting in sight!

This nail polish goes on great, is really easy to apply, and is a great color. So for the price it's not bad polish. HOWEVER the problem is that this is supposed to be a 'complete salon manicure', which it's not! Without a base coat it WILL stain your nails yellow. Also it chips without a top coat! Granted I only have a small chip so far but it's only the first day! I'm not saying don't buy this polish but be aware that for the price it's not what it promises. If you can find a similar color in their cheaper line I'd go with that.

I really like this Sally Hansen Salon polishes. Have no idea why they would change something that works so well. This polish has great opacity, good colors. It applies smoothly, like butter and lasts for well, I don't know as I change my polish often, but it lasts at least for 4 days which is what I think I left it on for.

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Nail Enamel - Cafe Au Lait Reviews
I actually bought this for my sister, as it's her favorite color, and we can no longer find it in the stores. It's a nice color, but we have found that it chips off quite easily. My favorite color is Pink Pong, which we are also unable to find. Neither of us uses the really dark or neon colors that are popular right now. Think it's time they start thinking about us baby boomers in the fashion industry!!!

I bought this at Rite Aid (drugstore) for $8 (wish I bought it on Amazon), anyways, it is the perfect nude color. I have so many colors, but I always find I go back to this one. It doesn't chip for a week, it's so durable, it shines so nicely, the brush is nice and big so it's easy to apply. I would recommend this nude to anyone!
