Sally Hansen Salon Effect Strips French French Twist (Pack of 3) Reviews
I love the fact I don't have to deal with nail polish out of the container. Only thing is, I don't know why it's doing this but the nail strips tear when I take them off the backing. I can't even use the white portion to get the french look. I just use the basic color to have my nails look 'done'. The longest I've had them on without looking bad was 3 weeks. The strips don't seem to want to stick very well closer to my nail bed, but I have always had very dry cuticles.

Makes a wonderful top coat. I was surprised as to how well this product works. Not as good as Sally Hansen Diamond Strength, but is a close runner up.
I tend to ruin even those professional manicures within 2 hours (and certainly within 2 days!), so I haven't painted my nails much since college.
I started exercising in a heavily chlorinated outdoor pool, however, and my nails started splitting. When I cut them down to the quick, they simply began to split beneath the quick! Even my toenails started to break. I held them together with duct tape at the office, then ran out to the nearest drugstore to buy something anything! that would keep my protective nails intact.
The lady in the cosmetics section was quite proud of her nails, and swore up and down that this was the product to buy: none of the $3 Sally Hansen solutions, no: this one! She invited me to touch her nails, which I did, and I admit they were strong and smooth, with blue nail polish on top. (Hey, you go, granny! I think she said she was 80)
At >13 bucks at the time of this review, this is pretty close to what I paid locally.
Since then I've been putting one coat on per day, three days in a row, after which the nail polish mysteriously cracks off, and they all peel. I don't know why it does that! The toenail polish stays on longer over a week.
I'm not even in the pool anymore, as it closed a couple of weeks ago right when I started using this product.
I moisturize my nails with a meyer lemon and olive oil blend that is a cooking oil, not specifically for nails, but the internet told me that was ok. :-P I also use Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream, Fragrance-Free, 2 Ounce (Pack of 2) on my hands regularly, and I make sure to leave blobs of it on my nails and cuticles each time.
I have two big beefs with this product:
1. My nails are still breaking beneath the quick. They're all shiny/purdy, but they're still crack-a-lackin' like I've never seen before. It's absurd
2. The. SMELL. It dries very quickly, and I could handle the smell when I first put it on, but eating anything for hours and hours to come makes me crinkle my nose. My hands bring food to my face, which puts them beneath my nose, and the icky toxic solvent smells are strong for a long, long time. We went out with friends yesterday, and I was still wrinkling my nose 4 hours after I painted my nails. UGH. I have ordered Piggy Paint MAKE IT LAST (2PK) Basecoat and Topcoat Paired Up! and hope it will function better, or at least not smell so awful for so long.
Things this product does well:
1. It is pretty
2. It dries quickly
That's it. I'm still using it because I'm desperate, but I'm actively pursuing other options. If you purchase this product, I hope it works much better for you!

Reviews of Incoco Nail Polish Strips, Pink, Flaunt
I've bought this brand for a few years now for my dog. Once she grew too big for me to hold down (because she hates the strong odor of regular polish) I discovered these & am sold!. They last MUCH longer than regular polish, fast & easy to apply as well as cheaper than the S.H. brand. Since the S.H have appeared I'm having a hard time finding the Incoco in stores. Unfortunately the S.H., which I do like, has cornerd the home manicure market, therefore better advertising. In this the Incoco brand is my #1 choice.

I love this product! They last for two weeks, are easy to put on, just make sure you follow all instructions. I didn't completely read all of the instructions, I didn't rub them between my hands, and they didn't stretch like they should have, but that's my fault!Best Deals for Incoco Nail Polish Strips, Pink, Flaunt
Very pretty color. Long lasting, great looking. Stays on much better than when I have my nails done at the salon.Honest reviews on Incoco Nail Polish Strips, Pink, Flaunt
The best polish available. Other brands claim to have similar products but Incoco is the only one that really works and does what it says. I always order on line.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Incoco Nail Polish Strips, Pink, Flaunt
These are easy to apply. I was able to use one set for both my fingers and toes. I am a little rough with my hands, so these lasted about 4-5 days. I will probably remove them in 7. The toes are lasting much longer. Love the color!Friday, December 27, 2013
Best Incoco Nail Polish Strips, Pink, Bubble Gum Deals
These just arrived yesterday and I'm already IN LOVE with this product! They didn't take more than 20 minutes to apply and were very "forgiving" of my fumbling. This isn't to say I could apply them with a toddler jumping up and down on the couch next to me, but my "large" dog did plenty of wriggling around against me. :)
These aren't the first appliques I've tried, I've also used Sally Hanson just because they were more accessible. After the Sally Hanson one's seemed to go ok, I decided to bite the bullet and settle in for a wait for these. And they were well worth the THREE day wait (*pshew* that was rough, lol).
These are "thinner" than the Sally Hanson type nail strips, if you have ridges in your nails, they do show through. Now this is fine for me, I'm fortunate enough to be able to grow my nails out pretty long naturally; so showing off my good genes is a-ok with me. Curious to see if these would masque deep ridges, like I have on one of my big toe nails, I did apply two appliques directly on top of each other. I just wanted to see what would happen and how it would look, the out come was a perfectly smoothed and buffed acrylic nail. This was also a bonus, as I worry about buffing too much close to the free edge of my toe nails. (if you've ever over buffed a finger or toe nail, you know exactly what I mean.) Like I said before, I'm fortunate to be able to grow my nails out pretty long on my own, but I've always been able to get them even longer if I can keep them polished. But as most seasoned polish users know, polish doesn't flex with natural nails very well. My hope is that by using a wrap, the applique won't get as brittle as regular polish does, and last much longer. If this review is more than two weeks old by the time you're reading it, then my plan was a success... should it fail, I'll be sure to update.
*** note: don't put a top coat over these within the first 24 hours, it doesn't seem to be necessary or beneficial. In fact, all I accomplished was making the strips bubble a little; just like regular polish would if you put on too many coats too fast. My bad, but they still look great and I got a lot of compliments on them!
DAY 6
Nails still look great! They've stood up to hand washing some dishes, lots of typing and even WASHING a super dirty large dog. (someone got into a nasty bog of rotting plant material on a hike, but I'm not naming names...) Not a crack, chip or any lifting in sight!

This set actually exceeded my expectations. All four pieces are typical Sally Hansen quality excellent. And the carry case is a bonus.I got the kit for a very reasonable price. The buffer, cuticle pusher, filer and nail clipper. The tools seem of good quality. Love it.
