I wish I could give this a negative rating! My nails were long and thick and strong (all natural). I used this for the first time, a nice brand new fresh bottle, and within two days I noticed the polish chipping/fading away. After removing the polish I noticed one of my nails started to peel, then another, and another! They are all paper-thin and week and still peeling away! I hate the day I ever saw this stuff! I know it wasn't the polish I used because it's a brand I always have used on my bare nails without any sort of damaging effect. And it wasn't the polish remover either because it is my one and only trusted brand I always use.

I just love sally Hansen Insta-Grip base coat, I've using it for years it dries in a flash and the nail polish goes on smoothly. I've had trouble finding in the stores lately, I was glad I was able to find it on line.

I have real nails, no tips, no gels, etc., and I get manicures weekly. This is the best quick dry base coat that i have ever used. Tried others, even OPI, and none do the job keeping my polish on like this product.

I'm not a base coat kinda gal but after dealing with my nailpolish chipping the same day I painted them, something had to give. Cosmo said base coat & i'm fond of Sally Hansen. So I opted for this one. On a whim. It's like magic. I've had my nails painted for a few days now and not one chip!!! I would recommend this product to anyone who hates chipped nailpolish. One caveat, it is not shiny as a stand alone polish. Yes, you can tell something is on your nails but it's a very dull shine.

I decided to try these out on a whim when I came across them in CVS. I've started becoming more and more into nail art, but I've never used a product like this before. The floral design itself is nice, but the background color is a greenish/yellowish color that doesn't match my skin tone well. I'd be interested in seeing how some other patterns would look, but unfortunately I'm not sure I'm going to continue using the product.

First of all, this may be something that gets easier with practice, or it may be something that I'm just personally not very good at it, but it was a tedious process that led to a somewhat unpleasant end result. It wasn't hard or difficult to master, but I felt unsatisfied with each finger I did, no matter how much patience and attention I put into it.

The stickers do not stick very well at all. I guess this could be resolved with more buffing or even a base coat of nail polish, but I decided to try this out for the first time using only what was included in the kit. So I struggled not only to put the strips on and keep them on at all, but wrapping my tips before removing the excess proved to be a real challenge.

Second of all, they chip and peel very easily and quickly after application. Again, I guess you could experiment with using a top coat, but that went against what I was attempting here, so I'm stuck with strips that are peeling.

I suppose for a younger person who just wants to try out different patterns, this could be a great start into the world of nail polish without the messy application or the terrible smell (although my boyfriend mentioned right away that he thought the strips smelled like nail polish remover, but I didn't notice any major scent). But I was less than pleased with the result of my little experiment, so I don't think I'll be spending my money on these strips again.

I just finished putting these strips on a short time ago and I can already tell that it was a waste of ten bucks. I followed the instructions very closely down to the last detail and was extremely careful when I did it. They are incredibly cheap and fake looking. Even though I used a very good quality top coat on them, a couple of my nails are starting to peel up after only an hour or so later. I've been debating just taking them off all together and being done with it. Even though they claim to be real nail polish strips, they sure don't look like it. They look like childish stickers. I would not recommend this product for the price at all.

First of all, I have to say that I adore the color. It's gold and it looks almost green-ish and copper-ish from certain angles. I personally like wearing it with a light layer of the black crackle polish over it. However there are three major downsides to this polish. One is the price. It was almost eight dollars at Target. But since I loved the color so much I thought it would be worth it. Secondly, It never dries. No matter how long you wait it's still always tacky. You have to wait a long while and then quickly seal it with a top coat otherwise it will smudge off everywhere. Lastly, I have used this polish a total of three times and the bottle is almost half gone!!! You would think for eight dollars they could squeeze in a few more drops of polish for you! I wouldn't recommend buying these for that reason alone.

It's a nice color but it's not a holographic polish. It's more like a foil look. It's not really metallic or glittery. It's pretty, but I was expecting it to be more light-changing as I moved my hands. It really only "changes" colors based on the lighting in the room, which can be said about anything really. I guess what I'm saying is that it's pretty but it's not nearly as spectacular as it looks like it would be.

I love this polish! It truly does dry in a few seconds. I have tried other colors (and the non-chromes) but I prefer this one. The reason I didn't give it five stars is because it scratches easily; I do touch it up daily. It literally takes me a couple of seconds for a quick touch up. If I want it to stay longer, I put on two quick coats, a quick clear top coat and another pink coat because the top coat dulls the shine. I wear it every day.

My wife says that it is a bit thick and the applicator is not so perfect and you need to be very careful to apply it nicely, otherwise the result does not look so beautiful. You have to be very experienced to be able to put it nicely.

One good thing is that it dries very fast but it goes away fast if you are washing your hands often.

I bought this item at Target, for about half the price listed here. It works fantastically well. I can't speak for why others had so many problems, but here's my experience:

The pen comes with one tip attached and two extras in the package. I've used the first tip to clean up 3 manicures, with three different colors of polish. The polish does stain the tip (right now mine is purple), but it still works quite well. There's no smearing from the previous colors on your new manicure. Also, the remover in the pen is potent and works quickly, you don't have to rub it back and forth much over mistakes before it completely removes any errant polish.

I have also used a q-tip with dipped in remover and find this much better. Q-tips are thick and can be fuzzy so they can be difficult with subtle corrections. This correction pen is firm and nicely tapered so that you can remove polish from the tiniest creases of your nailbed without ruining your manicure. I would say that this product works exactly as well as I always wished the q-tips would work.

The only thing I could suggest for the negative reviews is that they got a bad/old product. The one I have is great; I really couldn't be happier with it.

The sponge tip picked up just enough color to get stained and render itself useless. Luckily it was already useless, as it didn't make any noticeable difference in the smudges on my cuticles. Q-tip and nail polish remover is the way to go.

What a joke. Not only does it not do what it promises, but the cheaply made 'sponge' tip easily breaks off! Even though it comes with 2 refill heads, all three broke off, during my Corrections.

If you are looking for cuticle scissors, look elsewhere. The blades of these are way too thick to be able to cut cuticles. In fact, it is very difficult to even cut your nails with them! I am not sure who designed these, but they are terrible. Do not waste your money. All cuticle scissors are not created equal.

I have always struggled with growing out my nails because they would crack or tear so easily. I have been using this for about a month and my nails are long and strong. I have even noticed a difference in their shape. I have used my entire first bottle and will be ordering more. I have used Sally Hansen's nail hardening, but it NEVER worked like Hydration II. My nails are hard enough, but peel at the ends once they get to a certain length. This product sort of impregnates the nail and seals those peeling bits until your nail grows out a little and you can file the damaged parts off. I love this product...it saved my nails! I'm using the Ridge Filler II over this product before I polish. They work great together.

this product was recommended to me by a nail artist, for my nails that are soft and keep peeling.

i used similar product by national brands to no avail.

it has to be applied daily especially on the tips of the nails. after a week remove with nail polish remover and repeat (daily application).

better than anything else i used, well known in nail salons, enabled me finally to grow nails longer than the skin line.

it comes also in colors. i like it clear.

it's only 0.5 ounce but enough for 2-3 months. close tight or it becomes thick, and will not dry quick.

So far so good. I am waiting for my nails to grow out fully to really assess this product. It does stay on the nail well. I think it helps to protect the nail long enough to grow. I am a frequent hand washer, so we will see. I am crossing my fingers. I have used other products, and this is a better product by far, so far?

Some people say they don't stick on or last and others have great luck. Well, I have great luck. Use a nail polish base and a top coat, and good to go!!
