This is a beautiful nail polish. It is basically a clear base that is packed with pink microglitter and a little bit larger chunks of silver glitter. This color is hands down my favorite out of the jem crush line. It is the perfect girly pink sparkle. The formulation of this polish tends to vary based on color. In this particular color, the polish is thicker and provides perfect full coverage with two coats. It dries really quickly. The only downside is that it does tend to chip and peel off quite easily. Even applying a top coat does not seem to effect the wear, it just does not stay on as well as I would like. Overall though, I really like this polish. It is much less expensive than similar glitters that I have seen, so I am willing to deal with reapplying.

This polish is nice-if you know how to use it. The brush is different. You only need ONE coat and a top coat. For those that are experencing problems with application-it really is user error. This polish is similar in application to gel polish. Go over your nail slowly and in a couple upward strokes (away from the cuticle) to evenly give ONE nice layer. Tad-Dah! It does dry fast. Use acetone to remove. The brush is tricky-and not for ELEPHANT TOES like one review mentioned. Take the brush and run the brush against the lid to get rid of excess (just like they do with gel polish) and then spread one nice layer in one stroke over your nail. Do not apply too close to your cuticle-the brush will automatically take care of that.

These are too big, not very sharp, and too weak to cut toenails. The only good thing about them is the contour handles.

I have nothing nice to say about this product, or any Sally Hansen product for that matter. I happened to purchase this product only after I could not locate my favorite Barielle nail care products at my local drugstores.

BIG BIG MISTAKE!!

Within a few short weeks of using these products, my nails started breaking, chipping and peeling in layers, which is something that has never happened to me before! My once perfect ten (thanks to Barielle nail care products, shameless plug!) had become a hideous ragged mess!

If I were smart I would have asked the beauty experts at the drugstores; their main consensus in my area was that Sally Hansen products are 'inferior' compared to the others. I couldn't agree more!

I have since managed to find my Barielle products again and am honestly amazed at how fast my nails are recovering and growing after this fiasco.

My SH products are now in the dumpster where they belong!

I typically only get manicures for job interviews, weddings, and funerals.

I tend to ruin even those professional manicures within 2 hours (and certainly within 2 days!), so I haven't pained my nails much since college.

I started exercising in a heavily chlorinated outdoor pool, however, and my nails started splitting. When I cut them down to the quick, they simply began to split beneath the quick! Even my toenails started to break. I held them together with duct tape at the office, then ran out to the nearest drugstore to buy something anything! that would keep my protective nails intact.

The lady in the cosmetics section was quite proud of her nails, and swore up and down that this was the product to buy: none of the $3 Sally Hansen solutions, no: this one! She invited me to touch her nails, which I did, and I admit they were strong and smooth, with blue nail polish on top. (Hey, you go, granny! I think she said she was 80)

At >13 bucks at the time of this review, this is pretty close to what I paid locally.

Since then I've been putting one coat on per day, three days in a row, after which the nail polish mysteriously cracks off, and they all peel. I don't know why it does that! The toenail polish stays on longer over a week.

I'm not even in the pool anymore, as it closed a couple of weeks ago right when I started using this product.

I moisturize my nails with a meyer lemon and olive oil blend that is a cooking oil, not specifically for nails, but the internet told me that was ok. :-P I also use Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream, Fragrance-Free, 2 Ounce (Pack of 2) on my hands regularly, and I make sure to leave blobs of it on my nails and cuticles each time.

I have two big beefs with this product:

1. My nails are still breaking beneath the quick. They're all shiny/purdy, but they're still crack-a-lackin' like I've never seen before. It's absurd

2. The. SMELL. It dries very quickly, and I could handle the smell when I first put it on, but eating anything for hours and hours to come makes me crinkle my nose. My hands bring food to my face, which puts them beneath my nose, and the icky toxic solvent smells are strong for a long, long time. We went out with friends yesterday, and I was still wrinkling my nose 4 hours after I painted my nails. UGH. I have ordered Piggy Paint MAKE IT LAST (2PK) Basecoat and Topcoat Paired Up! and hope it will function better, or at least not smell so awful for so long.

Things this product does well:

1. It is pretty

2. It dries quickly

That's it. I'm still using it because I'm desperate, but I'm actively pursuing other options. If you purchase this product, I hope it works much better for you!

I purchased this product after a rather unfortunate run in with a set of acrylic nails that I had to get removed. (They were so thick that I had to get them removed & opted not to get them put back on.) Needless to say, that left my nails looking disgusting & weak.

I applied the treatment semi-regularly over the last few months. I've never really monitored my nail growth, but the nails appeared to have grown slightly more than they normally do. The treatment also looks nice on my nailslike clear nail polish. It also helps to moisturize & protect my nails for the most part.

My big complaint is that the polish seems to chip relatively easily under my daily routine. I don't do muchjust secretary work & the occasional shift in a bookstore. I put a coat on a day ago & the edge of one of my nails has no treatment on it from where it rubbed off.

Overall though, I'm fairly pleased with this product. If I have need of it in the future I'll probably get another bottle.

It came really fast and It's really easy to use. If your using it for faster nail growth, put it on 3x a day. Otherwise it says to put it on nightly. It also came with cuticle cream, and a bag for everything which i know use for nail polish. It also came with a nail file key chain :) I'm very pleased with this product.

First, Sally Hansen is a nail polish I've used since first introduced to stores. I've used Sally Hansen's "Hard As Nails" clear cover coat as a top coat over nail polish from other companies. When Sally Hansen introduced their own color line in nail polish, I waited for different colors & a good quality nail enamel.

Second, "Complete Salon Manicure" is a creamy-looking nail polish. It goes on smoothly.

Not extreme polish odor.

Thirdly, the "Angel Wings" color matched my pale skin tone, was perfect for my Christmas seasonal look & for New Year's. The color is a creamy, pale pink, with silver shimmer. The pink is not over bearing. It is a subtle pale pink & silver that shimmers when your fingers move in light.

I applied 3 coats of this nail polish to get total coverage of my nails & to achieve the pink & silver shimmer effect. So, you will need alittle more nail polish to get the color & shimmer effect you see in the bottle.

This particular color might be seasonal, it was available during '2011-'2012 holiday season. I do not know when/if this color will be discontinued?

I tried the SH Complete Care in a green bottle first, and that was truly amazing. Then I found this one in a local pharmacy and decided why not -the description looked promising. Just the same nail care solution, but with more moisturizing effect.

I must say that this product does more than I expected. It moisturizes very well, it makes your nails appear more smooth, it strengthens your nails and makes them grow faster. Twice as good compared to the green bottle.

I must say that two of my six friends who tried the treatment in a green bottle had the opposite effect: their nails became very fragile. Nobody of them had any problems with the 'Extra Moisturizing' version so far.

This product works just perfect for me, and I highly recommend it.

I really like this stuff and when it was new went on very nicely, but shelf life doesn't seem to be as long as some other products I have used...what I have left is too thick now to use, but thankfully I don't have a lot left

I've been using the base and top coat for months and I LOVE IT!!! I found a general rule about nails. After making sure that I prep/prime my nails with a non-acetone nail or a primer, now I'm having a long lasting wear out of my nail polish. This is the best and my favorite base coat that I own. My polish dries faster and my nails are stronger. The only thing that is a problem is that toward the end of the bottle the product gets thick. I add some polish remover to the product to make it as thin as it was when i first bought it. It still works.

I got these for my Mom who has breast cancer and is undergoing a year's worth of chemo. If you've ever been around anyone who is having chemo then you probably know that it discolors finger and toenails. It also makes you much more sensitive to smells.

My Mom really likes these alot. They are fairly easy to use and though they do have a bit of polish smell, it's lots less than regular nail polish so it doesn't set off nausea the way regular polish can.

These are so cute and a nice change from just plain polish. Once you use them a few times and get used to how they have to be applied, they go on fairly quickly with the added bonus of no drying time.

Both my Mom and I found that they last longer and adhere better if, after you apply them, you avoid immersing your hands in warm/hot water, even with rubber gloves on, for a few hours after applying.

These were a great price too.

I read lots of reviews before buying these and *thought* I understood how to follow the directions, but my first try at using Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips did not go as well as I had hoped. I understood some of the complaints, actually. But as I watched the wear pattern (chipping and lifting) I realized that the reason I wasn't having a good experience was probably because I hadn't prepped properly. So, the second time I tried them I went very slowly and paid particular attention to roughing up the sides of my nails, as well as the tops. I was much more generous with the nail polish remover for the final pass. When applying, I was very careful to place them well inside my cuticles. I too only used half the strips, so one package definitely gives two manicures. They have good staying power and do not chip easily. I am really satisfied with them, and highly recommend them: especially for women who can't apply liquid polish for any reason.

When I received these I was super excited. I had bought some previously from a local store and really liked them. So finding them on amazon for this price I was excited. Thought he product was defective when I went to use them the nail strip was stuck to the clear plastic top piece. I tried to get a corner up to try to peel off but they would just rip. so sad that they wouldn't work right. I'm not sure if it was hit from shipping but they were all ruined and was a waste of my money.

I really love having lip gloss of this type-it is so feminine and so pretty for a girl like me! Very easy to use & if you mess up you can actually just wife off and try again (if you wipe off right away). The stuff inside is not exactly nail polish & does not last as long as nail polish, but is great for small nail art.

This product is EXCELLENT for light coverage. I am over 40 and tried this product based on Carmindy's use of a similiar product on TLC's What Not To Wear. I was not disappointed with the coverage or the wear of the product. I use it with a moisturizer, light concealer cream, sponge on the spray base, and then a mineral powder dusted on top. My skin looks so smooth and the product wears for a long time before needing reapplication. My skin tends to be on the sensitive side so I tend to buy products and throw them out in frustration. Not this one. The only frustration is that it's rather hard to find. I've found it on Amazon and in Walgreen's and that's it. I hope Sally Hansen keeps making this wonderful foundation.
