love doing at-home manicure and pedicures. It's very therapeutic for me. I rather purchase a new OPI nail paint, than a manicure at a a spa. I love new colors!! So I must share one of my weapons of choice, which is the Sally Hansen Gel Cuticle Remover ($4.49). I've been using this for years now, and It quickly gets off excess cuticle in two minutes...

I bought this based on the glowing reviews here but I was just wholly unimpressed. It does an okay job at best of getting some of the ragged skin off around the nail base but I end up having to go back in with cuticle nippers.

The applicator tip also is a poor design.

I will be giving mine away and looking for something else.

This really does work. It makes my nails look so shiny and professionally done. I carry this polish in my purse for touch ups during the week (taking less than one minute to do both hands). My current manicure has lasted 11 days and I have only one tiny chip on my middle finger. I love this! now I don't have to do my manicure every 6 or 7 days, instead I can go every two weeks. The only indication that my manicure isn't truly new is the new growth of my nails lol. I highly recommend this, I'm thinking of adding this as stocking stuffers for xmas.

I love this product. I dont normally have time to sit and wait for my regular nail polish to dry, so even when its at that slightly sticky stage, I just apply the Mega Shine top coat on top and its dry and smooth to the touch within a minute or two. I always use this when I wear polish because it protects the color under it as well as make it look better.

If I wear just polish without the Mega Shine on top, the polish will rub off over the next few days. When I use this product, it will last longer. Everything will start to chip off after a week and a half or 2 weeks, but by that time you can see the nail has grown and it needs to be redone anyway.

Have used this polish, along with other Sally Hansen polish, for years. It make my nails super strong with a great shine. Does not chip or peel. Manicure lasts over a week!

It takes some work to file a nail with these. Or even to smooth out a sharp edge on a nail. I bought them because I have fragile nails that are hard to file these were recommended to me and the results weren't worth all the time and filing. I'd take a pass on these if I were you. UPDATE: Perhaps I needed a quick course in nail filing, because I'm now finding that these are pretty good nail files, especially for my fragile nails. I'm changing the star rating to 4 stars because I wish they'd last longer, but they're good, particularly if you have weak nails like I do. And the price is excellent!

I really love having lip gloss of this type-it is so feminine and so pretty for a girl like me! It says that it plump your lips-but I have other ways of doing that.Plus the smell is attractively swee-smelling-like candy-(how tasty!) Also, the container is pretty too! I'd bought this product somewhere else not on Amazon. I needed a neutral color for everyday use at work, but not too gaudy on me . I am medium tone skintone with naturally dark pigmentation around my lips . This color covered this flaw and made my lips looked more cohesive. The product felt smooth and creamy on my lips. The lip butter stayed as long as I wasn't eating or drinking something , which is good for me , since dealing with people for long periods of time. I loved it so much bought several more at the store. I am a big fan of Amazon and discovered sold on the site . So will ordered other colors in this line . The color Petal is more of a lavender pink which compliments my warm undertones.

I actually bought this at walmart but thought I'd be helpful and review it on here too. I put this on for the first time 2 nights ago and it looks so cool! It's bumpy but other people wouldn't notice. I used it as a top coat on pink, blue, and pink nails. It looks the most like fuzz if you put the it over the same color, so this green one looked the most fuzzy on my green nails. On the pink and blue it looks like sprinkles more than fuzz, but still looks very cool in my opinion. I plan on buying the other colors as well. Also, 2 days and no chips so far, so I think It makes a good top coat, I put 3 layers on my nails.

I was excited to try this as I have never had this type of polish before. I put the recommended three coats on and it looked and felt awful like it was a bad consistency and didn't look right. I will never purchase this type of polish again. As soon as it was half dry I took it off and threw the bottle away. Yuck.;

I had been drooling over this polish ever since I first saw it in a magazine weeks ago. I was finally able to get some and it is fantastic. I have found this locally at both Walgreens and Target. The polish applies much easier than I thought it would. It also give much better coverage than I expected. Two coats of this gives you a very nice, thick, fuzzy appearance. You can still see nail underneath with two coats, but you can also still make out the long bar texture of the flakes. This particular color "Fuzzy Fantasy" has pale green and white "glitter bars". I don't know what else to call them, they are long thin strands of plastic glitter type material (however they are matte, they do not sparkle at all). This particular color is one of my top favorites in the line. Everyone that sees this polish on my nails always comment on it and ask me where I got it. I hope Sally Hansen decides to add this polish to their line permanently instead of just as a limited edition.

Just a note: These are super hard to remove. I had put on two coats and it took me 30 minutes to get it off my 10 nails using regular strength nail polish remover. I had applied the polish only to my bare nail, perhaps it would have been easier to remove if I had used a basecoat first. On the plus side these seem like they will stay on for a long time and not chip.....

I purchased this thinking it was like the regular translucent corn silk that is so hard to find. It is not. It is very gritty feeling and I was very dissapointed by it.

This corn silk comes from a company in the UK and has a rougher texture than the old Sally Hanson version. It does contain talc so beware if you have issues with talc. It will definitely be great if you are looking for a powder to absorb oil. Because it comes from the UK it took about a month to arrive well beyond the estimated delivery date. This was due to customs so not the company's fault. I have to admit I'm not crazy about it and am really missing the Sally Hanson version.
