The product recommends that you test to see whether you're allergic to it by putting some on the inner fold of your elbow. Well I tested it and I seemed to have no reaction, so I went on with the process. Within the few minutes the instructions tell you to leave the creme on your face, the creme immediately turns your skin red. It stayed that way for more than a day, and I tried my best to cover up with makeup! That was terrible since it already felt really sensitive from the creme. The burning sensation lasts up to a day! Use another alternative to get rid of your hair!

This product did not work at all. I have used Sally Hansen Crème Hair Removal in the past and have been very pleased with the results. However, this did not work at all and after reading the instructions noticed a coupon that had an expiration date of 2006. This product was out of date and should never have been sold. I will never purchase from this company again.

It says to leave on for 3-4 minutes, however if you only leave on for that amount of time it will not remove all of the hair. I found it is best to leave it on for at least 7-10 minutes (that is if your skin isn't too sensative and can tolerate leaving it on a bit longer) I do like the cream that comes with it for after you remove the hair. It makes your skin soft and reduces the redness.

I found this at Big Lots! and figured I would give it a try. Both my mother and I have light, fine body hair and we applied the cream to our upper lip.

Neither of us had any negative reactions, no burning or redness (and we both have sensitive skin.)

The end result is basically the same as a salon wax but at very little cost and no redness!

It takes some work to file a nail with these. Or even to smooth out a sharp edge on a nail. I bought them because I have fragile nails that are hard to file these were recommended to me and the results weren't worth all the time and filing. I'd take a pass on these if I were you. UPDATE: Perhaps I needed a quick course in nail filing, because I'm now finding that these are pretty good nail files, especially for my fragile nails. I'm changing the star rating to 4 stars because I wish they'd last longer, but they're good, particularly if you have weak nails like I do. And the price is excellent!

GOOD topcoat! The shine lasts hardly chips and is wallet friendly... What else could you ask for? lol.. l like to put on a thick amount and let dry, it dries pretty quiclky and l can almost resume a normal life. Leaves my nails pretty strong too. Amazing! Sally Hansen is the best. Your polish will be as tough as a car coat of paint, and super shiny! You do have to let it dry, just like regular polish. It's not a fast dry top coat and doesn't claim to be.

I have tried it all..and this is by far the best. I have always found it embarrasing to sit in the beauty shop to have a lip and chin wax so I have tried everything from nightly tweezing to the roll on hot wax, (what a mess that was)and to be honest I had little faith in this product when I bought it but was willing to try anything. I was really shocked at how perfectly it worked. Warming between your fingers for a minute is all you need...trim the excess plastic away from around the wax pocket. Be sure your skin is oil free and the hair is brushed all in one direction. Smooth on in the direction the hair is growing (and this should be the way you have brushed it). I smooth and smooth with my finger to be sure all the hair is coated, then hold your skin tight with one hand and quickly rip back in the opposite direction the hair grew, holding the strip as close to your skin as possible (meaning do not pull UP...pull BACK.) Does every bit as good a job as the beauty shop!! A fraction of the price and the convienence and privacy of your own home. The oil included is soothing and takes away any left over wax instantly. I honestly can't ever remember purchasing a product I was as happy with as this. If you can read and follow directions, this will be the best thing you have ever used!

These strips work very well. I used them for my eyebrows and they removed every hair I wanted removed with ease. Of course it hurt a bit, but these strips use real wax so its not going to be pain-free and it doesn't claim to be. They are very easy to use, all you have to do is warm them in your hands for a few seconds and you are ready. They come in several different sizes and you may have to cut them down or in the shape you want, but that's easy enough to do. There is a finishing oil in the package that feels great and removes the wax residue instantly. If you want an easy way to wax at home, this is a great product!

I am fair-skinned and if I did not wax, I have dark, medium textured hair on my upper lip. I have been using this product for years and the only side effect I have experienced is occasional redness and of course discomfort at the moment I yank the wax strip off. The oil helps immensely to soothe the skin and get all the sticky stuff off. I apply the oil with a cotton swab and then finish with a tissue. I wax my upper lip only, and the box will last me for several months. I do have to use this weekly in order to keep my perimenopausal mustache under control. I can see on the strips that the hairs are being pulled out by the roots, but I think the next crop of hair then comes in -so I do have to use it much more often than every 8 weeks to keep my upper lip under control. The hair that grows in is soft, not stubbly feeling. My biggest tip for using this product is to blast the strip with your blow-drier for a few seconds to get it really warm (my hands tend to be very cold and won't warm the strips) and then use it immediately. Bigger pieces can be cut to the size you need BEFORE you warm them. My routine is to take a shower and then do the waxing since my face and hands are completely oil-free after the shower. It literally takes me 5 minutes, maybe just a touch more if I miss some hairs and have to tweeze them to finish the job. So much more convenient and inexpensive than going to the salon each week! And it is totally private. Highly recommended. Just be sure to have completely clean and dry skin and to warm the strips very well, and you won't be disappointed.

I used these for years... at least 5 or 6 years of waxing my upper lip every 2 months or so. I have very fine hair that grows there that starts to become visible after 6-8 weeks of growth. THESE STRIPS WORK. don't get me wrong. You only have to use the strip once and it gets all the hair. I used the Azulene oil before and after just like it says, but now I suffer from melasma, where the skin on my upper lip is darker than the rest of the skin on my face. My dermatologist said this is due to the wax strips taking off the top layer of my skin over and over, until there was damage and the skin is excessively sensitive to sun. I have to stay out of the sun and use SPF 5000, or else I look like I have a permanent chocolate milk mustache. He gave me some recommendations for GENTLER wax strips that aren't so harsh. I would not recommend these in the long term as they damage your skin.

I think this is a great product. I had been getting Brazillians professionally done over the summer and once it grew out again, I decided to give this kit a go. It worked sooo well, I was surprised! The only thing is that I have to get another kit to finish the rest but for 5.60 a pop thats not a problem. Beats $59.00 at the salon. Also, it was a bit sticky but the finishing oil included took it right off.

I bought this product because of my extremely short nails that are kinda too much of a joke to put nail polish on. I use this a lot and I find it to be great at making your nails stronger, I truly see no real difference in growth. The strengthening qualities are so good actually that when it starts to chip in the corner I can really see how brittle my nails are without it. Although I would love to give it 5 stars for that reason alone, I can't because of the fact that my nails are the same length. Its not like a oil either where it soaks in, more like a polish. You can't just keep layering it on. It does have a beautiful light peachish colour to it though. I would recommend that if you wear nail polish over it, you only put one coat of this on because it tends to chip with too many.

My nails tend to be filled with ridges, fragile, and also terribly brittle. The kind where if you bump your nail into something, a chunk will simply fly off --and they have always taken forever to grow. That said, I have tried dozens of 'nail growth' and fortifying products over the years, to no avail. And, some of them were Sally Hansen products, too.

Well, that was before Sally Hansen's GREEN TEA + OLIVE GROWTH. I have given this product a good trial, to make sure that results were consistent, before reviewing. In the last three months, my nails have changed dramatically. And, it was no temporary fix. My nails are now strong and they grow so fast, that I have to file them down weekly to keep them a suitable length for my work as a RN. I haven't had any broken nails, or fly away chips off of them, either. And they look really nice.

This product is very easy to use because there is no nail preparation beforehand. Just groom your nails and apply one coat over the bare nail 'every other day for a week.' For me, I give my nails a breather for a day, or two, then just start the process over. Your nails will have a beautiful natural shine, like you've just buffed them with one those expensive nail salon buffers. But unlike the buffer, your nails retain the shine.

I hope they never discontinue this product because it's the only thing that has given me nails to be proud of, for the first time, ever. I know that individuals have different problems with their nails, and this product may not be for everyone, but if your nails sound like I've described mine, give it a try. For the price, it's worth experimenting.
