I use this religiously on my nails. They don't break or chip and nail polish goes over it nicely. It takes about six-months for this to build your nail up, but after about that time, you'll have strong, attractive nails.

These scissors simply do not work. They are very dull and way too thick to cut fingernails. They are too massive and clumsy to make smooth cuts. Instead, they at best snap pieces of fingernails leaving ugly serrated cut line.

These are solid little scissors. They could be a little sharper however they do the job and I still give them 5 stars. They appear to be made of a nice grade stainless.

I'm a guy. I don't really have a need for "manicure kits" in colorful packages. I just need some nail scissors and a basic nail clipper for my own use, which is usually once per week for hands and twice per month for feet.

I had some good quality nail scissors that lasted me more than 15 years, but they began to show their age recently. The replacement scissors(which were bought at a store, not on Amazon) lasted me 1 use and then one of the blades broke off, an obvious sign that cheap metal was used.

Then I went on Amazon looking for a pair of higher quality scissors at the cheapest price possible. I settled on 2 possible choices: the LaCross Extra Long Scissors and the Sally Hansen Finest Fingernails Combo Scissors. I believe my previous good quality scissors were a LaCross brand, but I decided to go with the Sally Hansen scissors.

The steel quality seems better than my previous replacement, it has survived several nail cutting sessions. I use it mostly for toe nails even though it is recommended for finger nails(I use nail clippers for these). It does seem to take more effort to cut the nail than it should, so I am wondering whether they are as sharp as they could be(like the previous reviewer), then again my toe nails are thicker than my finger nails.

An issue that I have with these scissors are the finger openings which are used to control the blades. My fingers barely fit into them, I have average sized "Large" hands(again I'm a guy). It does cause some discomfort, and the way the openings are designed(egg shape instead of a more normal oval shape) is probably the main cause. This is the main flaw with these scissors.

If these scissors fail for any reason within a year I will update this review and will likely buy more expensive scissors, so far they are still functioning as expected.

I love a nicely manicured nail, but I simply do not have the time to sit in a salon every 10 days to get one. Not to mention, as much as I love all things "girly", I am a rare exception that would prefer to skip the steps it takes to get there. Manicures are boring. Grooming my hands/nails myself always allowed me to sit in the comfort of my own home and watch tv or read while I waited for them to dry. With that said, I am also rather impatient at times and find nail polish dryiing time to take forever!

I bought these thinking they'd be fun. These are awesome! They go on pretty easily, although I did have to waste a few to get the hang of it. Once they're on, they look like a professional manicure as long as your nails are shaped well before hand. I always buff my nails and wipe them with nail polish remover right before application to make sure these lay flat and smooth. I can get 2-3 uses out of a box as I keep my nails a medium length, so I can use strip twice (half on one hand, half on the other). These last 7-10 days for me despite cleaning, typing, etc.

I wish there were more plain colors without the design, but the plain colors I've bought do look nice. I really can't say how much I love these. Quick, easy, pretty and long-lasting. Awesome.

I was skeptical that these would look as good as real nail polish, but I had to try them to see for sure. Wow, was I wrong! They are a little tricky to apply, but once they are on, they look, feel, and even smell like a real manicure! I am able to get 2 full applications out of 1 box. I cannot wear real nail polish, because it ruins my nails. Hopefully, this product won't ruin them, since it's more like applying a plastic band-aid to the nail. After 3 days, my nails still look fabulous! Love the color of this one, "Plum-Met"!

I really like the polish strips. They are relatively easy and much cheaper than going to the salon. On average I get a week or a bit over before i Have to change but they come off relatively easy with acetone.

This is the same review I wrote for another shade of this product. I will say the color on Amazon, the color on the top of the box and the color of the strips all match very well. I would say it is safe to say if you like the color on the screen, you'll like it in person.

This product does not last very long, do not waste your money. Other than that ok, shipping was right on time. Just purchase a better nail polish. Opi or Essie has been working for me.

I came upon this item on a regular visit to the shops and decided to give it a try. My nails grow to lengths longer than an inch naturally and by themselves are quite strong. However, I am something of a klutz, constantly walking into things, grabbing borishly at times and on occasion, slamming into something my nails would bend backward and break at the flesh. This is quite painful obviously. Using this product I have found a remedy to the results of being a klutz. I can flail borishly and if my nails happen to connect with a hard surface the only thing that cracks is the laquer and not my nail. I am surprised many times having removed it to find the nail perfect as before. Unfortunately, this item is difficult to find in the shops, which is not surprising. However, through diligent searching I found a place here on Amazon.com offering the item. My first order, I purchased five (5).

Don't buy!

I read both the bad and good reviews and decided to take a chance on the good reviews.

The product does give you a thick hard coating for your nails, however it bubbles and it takes forever to dry.

I read through all the tips, made sure I didn't shake the bottle only gently rolled it, I applied it on smoothly and all seemed fine, but then as it dried it started bubbling. I wiped it off and reapplied it 2 more times trying different methods, thin layer, thick layer, medium layer and every time it still bubbled no matter what I did. After the last attempt all seemed to be going well, but then it wouldn't dry. I sat up for an hour and a half and eventually dozed off waiting for it to dry. Woke up the next morning and not only were there more bubbles, but every single nail was smudged because after an hour and a half, it still wasn't dry.

I have very brittle nails that break and crack all the time. I can never grow long nails. I had a big party last week and wanted to keep my nails long, but was worried they would break before the end of the week. I bought this product about three days before the party and painted on several coats. My nails are still long and have not broken or cracked and it's a week later. Normally my nails would have all broken by now, but they are long and beautiful! I will definitely keep using this product to keep my nails long and strong!! I would definitely recommend this for anyone who has weak or brittle nails.

Don' t take a risk using this product. I did and I am going in to my third week of issues from using this product followed the direction that came with the kit wore them for 2 days then had to remove them on the second day because my fingers were swelling up red and itching then my nail beds.

No matter how careful, tiny bubbles are visable when it (eventually) dries. It chips after a day or 2, and is hard to remove.

It's not thick like gel. After 2 tries, it went into the garbage.

I am a clutz when it comes to nail care and hair styling, so when a product comes along that is pretty much idiot proof I jump all over it. Sally Hansen Salon Effects nail polish strips is such a product. Looks great on long or short nails, is easy to apply, doesn't seem to dry out or stain nails and really stays put. Mine last up to 2 weeks even though I use alcohol swabs and disinfecting wipes every day. They can chip a little when they dry out under these conditions, but with the various designs one barely notices. Like I said, "Idiot proof."

My nails tend to snap and split and regular nail polish makes it worse. So far, Nail Effects seems to be offering some protection against this.

The novelty designs are a lot of fun, but I wish they came in more normal colors, too. Are you listening, Sally?

This Sally Hansen Lip Inflation lip plumper works as expected, looks great on, smells wonderfully sweet, and I just love it. The effect of the plumper is, of course, temporary. It lasts about 2 hours on me, which just happens to be about the time I need to apply more lip gloss anyway, so I just reapply and my lips plump up again.

It works by way of two of its ingredients, Peppermint and Cinnamomum Cassia Leaf Oil, which cause increased blood flow to the lips in effect plumping them up. It is also what causes the tingling sensation you get when you first apply the plumper.

The Sheer Pink is my favorite. It is just slightly tinted and seems very natural.

PRODUCT LABEL DIRECTIONS: Apply as needed to lips. You may experience a slight tingle. Can be worn alone, under or over lip color.

This corn silk comes from a company in the UK and has a rougher texture than the old Sally Hanson version. It does contain talc so beware if you have issues with talc. It will definitely be great if you are looking for a powder to absorb oil. Because it comes from the UK it took about a month to arrive well beyond the estimated delivery date. This was due to customs so not the company's fault. I have to admit I'm not crazy about it and am really missing the Sally Hanson version.
