These scissors simply do not work. They are very dull and way too thick to cut fingernails. They are too massive and clumsy to make smooth cuts. Instead, they at best snap pieces of fingernails leaving ugly serrated cut line.

These are solid little scissors. They could be a little sharper however they do the job and I still give them 5 stars. They appear to be made of a nice grade stainless.

I'm a guy. I don't really have a need for "manicure kits" in colorful packages. I just need some nail scissors and a basic nail clipper for my own use, which is usually once per week for hands and twice per month for feet.

I had some good quality nail scissors that lasted me more than 15 years, but they began to show their age recently. The replacement scissors(which were bought at a store, not on Amazon) lasted me 1 use and then one of the blades broke off, an obvious sign that cheap metal was used.

Then I went on Amazon looking for a pair of higher quality scissors at the cheapest price possible. I settled on 2 possible choices: the LaCross Extra Long Scissors and the Sally Hansen Finest Fingernails Combo Scissors. I believe my previous good quality scissors were a LaCross brand, but I decided to go with the Sally Hansen scissors.

The steel quality seems better than my previous replacement, it has survived several nail cutting sessions. I use it mostly for toe nails even though it is recommended for finger nails(I use nail clippers for these). It does seem to take more effort to cut the nail than it should, so I am wondering whether they are as sharp as they could be(like the previous reviewer), then again my toe nails are thicker than my finger nails.

An issue that I have with these scissors are the finger openings which are used to control the blades. My fingers barely fit into them, I have average sized "Large" hands(again I'm a guy). It does cause some discomfort, and the way the openings are designed(egg shape instead of a more normal oval shape) is probably the main cause. This is the main flaw with these scissors.

If these scissors fail for any reason within a year I will update this review and will likely buy more expensive scissors, so far they are still functioning as expected.

I started using Sally Hansen Age Correct Retinol Hand Creme (only) on my hands about 5 years ago. I discovered that I don't have ANY AGE SPOTS on my hands, at all, but they are on my arms, legs, etc. So, I've decided to start "slathering" myself with it, since it works so well! I have used this product for several years and I love it. This has kept my hands looking young and without liver spots. I love the retinol correction part of this product and I will continue to buy this product as long as they sell it.

I'm only the third person to write an review of this

product, i'm "amazed!!" Perhaps when you've been around

as long as "Sally", people just take your greatness for

granted. This is the very best hand cream i've ever used!

It brought my hands back from the dead. In younger years,

oh, i had such beautiful hands, but after many years of

marriage and housework, my hands were "tore-up, from the

floor-up!" I was always trying to hide my hands. I'm not

the kind to go to Salons, so, i thought i'd have to live

with "old" "wrinkled!" looking hands. My face looked

great, but my hands, particularly my fingers, showed my

age. One application! that's all it took! I noticed an

immediate difference. My skin tone brightened! And the

fine wrinkles on my fingers began to disappear. Now i

have hands that look "early twenties!No lie!" I am

considering trying the cream out on other body parts.

If your hands look old, discolored, or bad? Please buy

this cream. I doubt if you'll be sorry.

I bought these nail polish strips to wear for Mardi Gras in St. Louis over the weekend. They're fantastic! I coordinated them with Violent Lips temporary lip tattoos Violent Lips The Black & White Checker Set of 3 Temporary Lip Appliques and received many compliments from my friends as well as complete strangers. They take a somewhat steady hand to apply, but I was able to do a decent job while riding as a passenger in the car on the highway. I did not use a topcoat since I knew I was only going to wear them for two days. My only negative comment is that they took A REALLY LONG TIME to remove. I spent four minutes per nail. The black squares did not want to come off. I tried acetone as well as acetone-free remover and the latter was what worked. Perhaps it is because I applied a base coat to my nails before the nail decal? Regardless of this minor drawback, I definitely intend to purchase these again in many more designs.

I have been using the Salon effects for a while and I love the product as well as the quality!

The nail polish strips do last for up to 2 weeks and are easy to remove with nail polish remover.

Amazon is the best place to get them besides Walgreens and Kroger! =)

This is my fav nail polish. It doesn't wear GREAT but it does dry fast. A good top coat and it wears as well as any other polish. The colors are always really good. This one is no exception. I know a lot of people don't like the goofy brushes, that these polishes have, but I do.

It definitely looks much better shade than its image, it is little dark ( parrot color). I got compliments on this and even I can't stop noticing it now and then, after applying, it is so appealing. Dries fast, stays on longer than other brands. Goes with any dress specially black, quite catchy, worth trying.

I got these stick on nail polish just to try, but I was so pleasantly surprised! This actually work really well. They are really like real nail polish when on, but s easy and fast to apply. No drying time so someone like me, with little time to spare, perfect! I must say that you will need a bit of practice, but since each package comes with more than enough for both hands, you can use some of the ones do not fit your nail size to practice! I went back and bought 10 more.....

I bought this product a few weeks ago and whenever I try it, I never kkep it on more than 10 minutes.

First it's not black. It's dark blue. Very dark blue but NOT black.

Then you can't control the amount of liquid going to the brush. Sometimes you just need a little more for the last finger ...

Finally, I layer is not enough and if you add a second layer, it never dries out. I mean, I tried doing nothing for 2 hours and using a fan for 1 hour. WHen I go to bed, I wake up with the sheets printed on my nails ...

Can't recommend.

I bought this thinking I'd be able to paint my nails faster since I don't have much time. I really liked how it worked but I hated how it took like 3 clicks just to get the nail polish to come out just right and it took way way longer than I thought to dry. I could paint my nails at 7 and got to bed at midnight and when I woke up the next morning my nail polish would have imprints on it. It was ridiculous. I liked the black, the easy use hated the fact it never really dried and I couldn't get the right amount for my nails.

i thought it was a nail pen that you use for designs but i read wrong its ok though because i can just cut off a couple bristles to turn it into a striper. the consistancy is pretty thin but it works ok

I have purchased other colors of this product and they were really nice, but this was the only place I could find black. The product says black, but it's more like a midnight blue. It is also thinner than the others. While my other colors went on thick, rich and creamy, this one is watery and requires at least two coats to give it a nice look. Even though it's not actually black, I still like it enough to keep using it. At least it goes on smooth and dries fast like it's supposed to, but be aware that it is not exactly as it is described.

I absolutly love this product. I have the red chrome color and it looks great even without a top coat!! I have always had two problem when giving myself manicures. It always took way too long for the polish to dry, like 30 mins... I cant sit still for that long and when i thought it was dry the minute i would try to do something it would smudge, my second problem is i have a left hand that does not like to cooperate with the painting process. My left hand (painted with my right hand)always marvelous, my right hand would look atrocious. This pen has solved both my problems. I polished one hand and by the time i finished the other hand it was completely dry. And painting my right hand was a breeze, no mistakes and the same quality as my left hand!!! awesome!!!

Maybe it should be called line because there was definitely no crackle! I normally use OPI Shatter but I saw Sally Hansen at Walgreen and since I normally use a lot of Sally Hansen products (The Sally Hansen HD nail polish is awesome!) I decided to try their crackle. Big mistake! I've tried it with multiple Sally Hansen nail polishes and Revlon polishes, let each coat dry for 30 minutes, tried thin coats and thick coats and it just doesn't work! Maybe I'm bias because OPI works so great but this crackle is definitely worth purchasing! Maybe it's different in a different color but silver was awful!

I liked this product a lot when I first purchased it. I used it over dark nail polishes (deep red, blue, purple) and it always looked pretty cool. The crackles were a nice size and the polish wasn't too thick or too thin. You do have to apply it quickly, and each nail only gets one coat or else it will ruin the crackle effect. I also found this polish to be very hard when dry and thus long-lasting. Use a top coat to make the polish smooth, otherwise you can feel the cracks.

After owning this polish for about 6 months, however, I have noticed it has become quick thick and hard to use. Now it just globs onto my nails and hardly cracks at all. It's so thick that I can no longer mix it in the bottle! It was a nice product while it lasted, but I probably will not purchase it again.

This stuff didn't look like it crackled on every nail. About 50% of my nails looked like they had the pattern but the rest just looked like I put silver glittery nail polish on them. Also this stuff is VERY silver. If you're looking to have junior high girl nails then you might like the color but I didn't. It's not at all what it was like on the cap. I wouldn't recommend this product. It doesn't work like they advertise it does.

I have been looking all over my small town for this polish and finally found it over the weekend at Walgreens for $6.99. I am in love with the effect! I painted my nails a bright pink and let it dry for 15 20 minutes. I then went over with the silver crackle and the crackle effect is beautiful! It is so easy to use! My sister was so impressed that she asked me immediately to do her nails and they turned out great also. I did notice that the thicker coat provides more of the pictured crackle effect. I used a thinner coat on my nails and wound up with a little crackle, but more of a shimmery top coat with small cracks. I used a thicker coat on my sister's nails and wound up with perfect crackle. You must make sure your base coat color is completely dry before you try to put the Crackle coat on or it will take the base coat color off completely. Also, don't forget to finish with a clear top coat when the Crackle is dry.

You have to do a single coat. If you rebrush the same area at all it will fill in the area that is supposed to look cracked. My left hand looked streaky til I realized what I was doing and then my right came out perfect.
