This polish is a really pretty green. The only issue I have with this is that it takes MULTIPLE coats. I think I ended up putting four coats on so that it looked even and you could see the color. I'm thinking that this would look fantastic if you topped it with a clear sparkle polish, maybe Milani Diamond Dazzle (see my other reviews for this one). All in all I am happy with this product, the cost is great, I would only maybe make it a little more matte.

This is one of my favorite polishes, the color is so pretty. It reminds me of happy spring times.

The formula is great and the application is smooth. It's very sheer and would require at least 3 coats to get it to full opacity. It's glossy and sparkly and looks great in sunlight.

I have always had trouble with my nails breaking or peeling and while I've tried many products to make them stronger, many only make them harder without fortifying. When your nails become hard with no elasticity, it actually makes breaks more frequent.

However, this product introduces nylon to the formula and you can clearly feel/see it once the product dries which preserves nail elasticity. When your nails can bend, they won't break as easily.

This product works well as a topcoat and gives you a nice sheen, but not so well as a base. The thicker formula can be a little difficult to put on smoothly.

Also, rather than chipping, this nail polish peels. I found that once the polish started peeling, I couldn't help from peeling it off even further and it would often come off in large chunks, if not completely, which left my nails looking dull or left odd spots without polish. This is definitely a product which has to be taken off completely and redone periodically rather than just having a fresh coat painted over.

Overall, this is a good product with a few minor annoyances.

My polish has lasted up to 4 days with only minor chips with this polish as a base. I LOVE IT!!

This product dries quickly, that's the good news. However, it is ineffective. I used this as a base coat and top coat for two months and it did not prevent my nails from yellowing. It does not prevent your nails from chipping, nor does it give your polish a high shine. If you want something that does all that, try professional nail treatments, or go to the store and buy L'Oreal base coat. It works wonders.

I am a CNA (certified nursing aide) so I always have to wash my hands and where gloves about 30 times a day. This does sooo much damage to my nails and they are so brittle that I can't even think about wanting medium length nails again.

But after this product, my nails have definitely improved and can be grown out longer than before because they stay crack-free and I don't have to clip them.

PS: I also take Biotin (a supplement) which helps nail growth (for me it doesn't help brittleness, only length) so when I use this product and take Biotin my nails look great.

After removing gel nail extensions, I needed something to protect my nails from splitting, peeling, chipping, etc. for a couple months. This wasn't it. I used this product following the directions for 2 weeks. It couldn't even make it a day without chipping off -and I wasn't hard on my nails. One shower and the tips are all peeling. It also didn't prevent ANY splitting or peeling for my nails. The finish isn't smooth either. It's a complete waste of money whether you order it through Amazon at this price or buy it in you local drug/big box store. I've ordered OPI Nail Envy and will write a review after I've given it a try.

Review of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Nail Color: Red Carpet #390

I absolutely love this entire line of nail polishes, but this is my favorite of the "classic" colors. The glitter is deep and subtle, and I experienced good coverage with two coats, but best color and appearance with three. Luckily, unlike another reviewer I had no issues with the color rubbing off. If there are any complaints with this item, it would be that this is thinner than some of the other colors, which can be kind of a pain to apply it wants to "leak" over onto my skin so I have to be very careful. And goodness, it is SO hard to remove if you forget to do a base coat (or, like me, you sometimes don't use one on purpose to make sure you get the most of this line's strength and long-last-ability).

Even with those nitpicky issues, this has jumped to the top of my list of favorites out of the Xtreme line it's a great color with just enough "kick" to keep it current and festive, and three coats will *easily* last until I need to repaint from growth no chipping or wearing at all.

I can't recommend highly enough!

Red Carpet is one of my go-to polishes. I simply love the color and as with all of the X-Treme Wear line, it is long-lasting and doesn't chip as easily as other polishes. Two coats provides excellent coverage. Definitely use a base coat, as the glitter is impossible to remove otherwise, and the red color will seep into your nails and nail beds and stain them for a while. The color is a vibrant red with red glitter. I use it on my toes a lot and it will typically last about 2 weeks! Love it!

Working as both basecoat and topcoat, this gel is thick, yet dries quickly and keeps polish from chipping. Best of all, it makes nails TOUGH! I've been using some far more expensive and labor intensive stuff (recommended application was every day), and Triple Strong has it beat hands down (pun intended) in both price and effectiveness. Yay!

Well i just started this product and it already is by far the best ive used. I love to keep my natural nails long, but im in the military so with all the movement and training is really hard to keep my nails from breaking or chipping. because im in the military wile in uniform i cant use color nail polish so i always stick to clear. this has been the first product that hasent chipped or peeled off right away. i love it and will continue to use it!

There are two in the picture, but you only get one. Should be obvious form the description. So why do they picture two? Who knows, maybe they think the bottle looks better that way. As I was curious to see if this particular product would work, I purchased it at the grocery store. I works very well! I live where is very dry, so, my hands get very dry, especially after removing nail polish. The way this particular product works, without leaving the tips of your finger and your nails feeling dry, is beyond me. So, I will purchase again, because it even removes heavy glitter nail polish.

I love glitter nail polishes but they are an absolute pain to remove. This product contains a very soft sponge in a plastic jar of acetone. The sponge has a few openings to slip your fingertips into and once in, you just swirl and soak for a few seconds. Works great!

I bought these liners on line in teal and they went on o.k then dried and little flakes of the color started to fall on my cheeks. I cleaned it off and then they started flaking again less but none the less flaking so I took the liner off and put on another liner it was fine. So I will NOT be purchasing these liners again I think that's why they are discontinued.
