This color is a bit lighter than it looks in the stock photo. It's more of a peacock blue, or a medium ocean blue. Not as dark or denim colored as the photo appears. The first coat goes on quite sheer, so I've found it takes about 3 coats to get the best color. It's a great summer color for toenails, giving them a fun and bright medium blue color. With a top clear coat, the polish lasts a long time. On toenails it seems to never chip and lasts forever. On fingernails I can get a solid 4-5 days without any chipping, as long as I've applied a clear top coat. It's a beautiful color and one of my favorites!

Color was gorgeous, but application was terrible. It took me FIVE coats to get a strong color. I don't remember chipping but it seemed like it was hard to take off. I was not impressed with this line by Sally Hansen...

I was really impressed at how fast my package came and all of the personal touches the seller adds. I really liked the color of the nail polish it's a blueish-purpulish-green but mostly blue. Can't wait to try more of the HD nail polishes.

When I saw these new nail polish colors in the store, I was so excited! I absolutely love anything iridescent, and these vivid, multi-dimensional colors were beautiful. I got the turquoise one (spectrum) as well as the purple one (can't think of the name), because from certain angles, they mirror each other. The first thing I noticed when I was applying it was that it goes on very thin. You need at least 3 coats to get the full color. After letting each coat dry before applying the next, my nails looked great! I was very happy with the result on that first day. However, 24 hours later, the polish had chipped on 4 nails. I have a desk job, I wasn't doing anything particularly active with my hands, and yet by the third day, the polish had chipped on all 10 nails. I was disappointed, but I've learned to expect that kind of thing from most nail polish. I would still have given it 3 stars at that point because it was so pretty. However, something even worse happened that I've never had happen with any other nail polish. Within a week after applying this polish, all 10 of my nails have broken. Before this, I hadn't applied any nail polish at all for about 2 years, and my nails were quite long and in fantastic condition. Now, my nails are all broken down to the tips of my fingers. Once again, I wasn't doing anything that's normally hazardous to my nails. Each nail broke during normal everyday activities, like opening and closing doors/drawers/windows, one got caught in my hair and ripped, another broke in the car when I hit my turn signal, etc. Before this, I hadn't broken more than one nail in a week's time, and now I've broken ALL 10. This nail polish seems to have made my nails weak and brittle. I will not be using it again, and I will be returning both colors.
