This nailpolish is horrible as a base coat! It dries and 15 to 20 mins later it is flaking off and looking horrible. I did not wet my hands or anything afterword that could possibly make it chip or flake but it does it anyway, everytime, without fail. As a top coat its fine but as a bascoat, don't even waste your time.

I loved this nailpolish at first but after a few months it got gloopy, bubbles and difficult to apply. I hate it. One of my least favorite top coats. Creases and takes a ridiculous time to dry.

I'm pretty bummed out about this top coat... I am fairly new to doing my nails-I actually just sort of find the process therapeutic-but this top coat, while it DOES appear to strengthen nails over time, does give a nice, deep, glassy finish to the nails (when nothing goes wrong), and dries fairly quickly, it also seems prone to premature chipping and tiny bubbles that form after the coat has been laid on. There are so many chemicals in these things though, that I really don't know if this is the topcoat's fault, or some weird chemical reaction between it and the nail polish and/or base coats. I've been using an"eco" base coat to try and keep the weirdest of the weird chemicals away from my nails/nail beds, so maybe that is part of the problem? I have used about half of the bottle of this top coat, so it can't be said that I didn't give it ample chance.

I should note that I have not had the same irritating issues with Revlon, Konad, or Orly top coats, so I don't think this is a case of pilot error, as it were, but if anybody has suggestions, I'll try them, and if it works out, then, of course, I will change this review to reflect my findings.

This product does what it sells for: my nails have been growing strong (I paired the top coat with the nail strengthener on my bare nails). However, the top coat is awful if you are looking for a long lasting manicure. Regardless of which nail polished I used under the top coat, it came off as a single piece or it chipped awfully. One would have to reapply nail polish in order to make a manicure last for more than 2-3 days.

I gave three stars to this product because it really made my nails strong, but I do not recommend it.

I've tried several more expensive top coats including Seche Vite but I always come back to this one. It dries fast, hard, thick, and shiny. People think I'm wearing gel polish but I put this on over OPI and it looks fantastic. I'm a server so they do chip somewhat often but if I go a few days without working they won't chip at all. Hands down best topcoat I've used and cheapest. To avoid bubbles take your time applying it slowly and evenly.

Sally Hansen products are usually high quality and this one is no exception. I bought this because my nails are always brittle and I wanted to strengthen them.

The varnish itself is quite thick in texture so you will only need one layer. If you add two layers then it usually goes a bit clumpy in places.

Immediately after the varnish had dried I noticed that my nails felt much stronger and they had a nice glossy sheen to them.

I have been using this product on and off for about two years and it always contributes to the ability to grow long, strong nails. It is the best nail strengthening varnish I have come across so far.

Sally Hansen Maximum Growth, 0.45 Fluid Ounce [Misc.]Sally Hansen Age Correct Nail Strength has been discontinued for a couple of years now. I loved it. It reinforced my nails and smoothed the edges and protected them. Tried everything to find a replacement. I just found it!

You now need to buy Sally Hansen's "Maximum Growth" Nail Polish. It comes in clear and clear pink nail colour. It has the same effect on my nails as the Age Correct. YEAH! Finally... I'm going to buy a bunch to make sure I'll always have some. None of their other products helped my nails.

When I started menopause, I noticed a change in dryness of my skin and also my nails. My nails became brittle were breaking all the time. I even considered fake nails I was so embarrassed. I tried this SH product and voila! My nails are great! I type everyday, sew for hours, and hours and do everything every other mom does around the house. Hands in dish water and bleach scrubbing the bathroom, etc. I can't say enough about this product. I am so happy I found it on Amazon since my CVS has stopped carrying it. All my "young" co-workers ask me what I use to keep my nails so perfect! That says it all.

This is the best nail product ever. It does exactly as it claims. I had brittle, weak nails most of my life. I found this product and enjoyed beautiful long nails for years until, to my dismay, it was no longer available in stores. My nails broke and I just could not get them to grow. They were a wreck for a few years. When I found the Age Correct Strength on Ebay, I ordered several bottles. My nails grew gorgeous again. I'm ecstatic that it is now available from Amazon. Is Sally Hansen making it again? I wrote to the company a few years back extolling the virtues of the product and begged them to make it again. Never got a reply. I'm buying a bunch of back-ups, just in case it disappears again.

I was so excited the first time I used Sally Hansen Clearly Quick quick dry polish. It dried super fast and left a great shine. However, by the next day, it began chipping and peeling. When I use it as a top coat over colors, again it dries fast and the shine is gorgeous, but not even 24 hours later, the entire nail color 'pops' off my nails, like I'm wearing cheaply glued fake nails instead of nail polish. I spend 1-2 hours doing my nails and the next morning, without fail, one will 'pop' off and I'll have 9 painted nails. Over the next 24 hours several more will 'pop' off, until finally I just remove them all and start again. I love how inexpensive it is and I do love the shine, but I don't think its worth it to have to do my nails every 2 days like this!

In the past, whenever I tried to do my nails myself there were always problems. Something would occur between applying the nail polish and waiting for it to dry since I always ended up with smears, lines and other blemishes. Before I actually went out to buy a nail drying machine, I decided to follow a friend's advice and use this nail polish. I was told it was a miracle workjer but I had my doubts. Consider me converted! This nail polish is the best stuff ever!!

It applies evenly and dries within a minute (I give it two to be extra sure) and you are good to go. I can pick up keys from inside my purse, change clothes and even style my hair without any fear of blemishes.

This nail polish is worth every cent! I use it as a top coat for extra protection and it works like a charm.

I have been doing my own manicures for years and absolutely LOVE this top coat. Dries fast, super shiny, and affordable. The women at the nail salon always think I'm wearing gel polish when I go for my pedicures. ONLY PROBLEM: after a while, I'd say a couple months, the formula changed and gets kind of thick and bubbly. It goes on thick and once it dries it's very bubbly. This doesn't keep me from buying it since it works amazingly up until then. I always recommend this top coat to my friends!

I have been spending waay too much money at the salon doing gel nails (shellac) and also acrylics. I really liked the shellac because it does last 10 days but unfortunately for me my nails grow too quickly so by day 5 or 6 you can see the new growth line and it does not look professional. Therefore, I have been doing my own testing trying to find the right combination that will allow me to have a natural manicure for at least 3-4 days and with this product I found it. I also found out some extra tips, here is what I do.

1. Buff your nails first to ensure your nail bed is nice and smooth, I was not doing this.

2. Make sure you wash your hands prior to manicure to remove all oils. I was not doing this before.

3. Use any type of base coat. I never used a base coat.

4. Use 2 coats of any kind of polish and for one of the coats lock in the polish meaning as you polish, glide the polish across the front of the nail to seal it in, this is also important.

5. Use this as a topcoat only 1 coat! Not only does it dry quickly but it really does make your nails shine and if you don't do too much laborous activity you will be able to go easily for 3-4 days, sometimes even 5! I try to do my laborous activities (washing laundry, mopping, etc) right after I take off my polish before I start the new manicure.

I also have horrible cuticles, so about once a month I try to get a professional manicure which is waaaaay less than Shellac and acrylics so they can do a professional job on my cuticles.

I love the look of polished nails, whether it's color or just shine. What I absolutely hate is that feeling of being held prisoner of my fresh manicure. You can't touch your hair, turn the pages of a book, use the computer -all you can really do is just sit there and pray for the Nail Polish Goddess to finish her work.

Sally Hansen's Instant Dry Topcoat is truly that -instant dry! It works better than any other topcoat out there, no matter what the price.

I don't know why the reviews ares so great with this product. It does a good job of drying quickly...BUT this top coat has the dreaded "peeling" effect in that a day or two later some nail polish will just "peel off"! This happens especially after showering SOOOO annoying! I will not be purchasing this again. It IS effective in drying your nails quickly, but it's kind of pointless considering it makes the polish PEEL OFF pretty soon after. It doesn't just chip off "a little" the freakin' entire nail polish bed just comes off entirely. :( I've used this product 4-5 times and always have the same result. I use a base coat + two coats of QUALITY polish (OPI, Essie, etc) and still the same problem.

Any suggestions for a better quick-dry top coat? Would be MUCH appreciated!!

These are relatively expensive tweezers. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that they do not work. They fail to grasp big fat black hairs. The cause is obvious: lots of light is visible between the tongs. They simply do not fit flatly together.

I can't imagine that a pair of tweezers would simply not work. It is obviously a normal product, but this particular pair of tweezers just doesn't grip even the easiest to remove hairs. I have no idea why it doesn't work. I just know that after multiple tries, it doesn't work! The little pads do make it easy to use, but if tweezers won't grip on to a hair and pull then they serve no purpose at all. These are a total disappointment.

These work as expected, and the grip makes them easy to hold on to. I wish they were a bit sharper, as they don't grab smaller hairs as well as some of the others I have. Overall they work for most purposes and are a great price.

I was expecting a nail polish that would change in the light's reflection. I have prismatic nail colors from other companies; this one does not hold a candle to them. Stick with China Glaze, Nfu-oh, or Orly. The color itself is very pretty. Just not prismatic.

This is quite a pretty nail polish. I got mine from Cassiecosmetics and the polish had been diluted so it's not showing its true colours but if you can get hold of a genuine one, it should be quite a good nail polish

This has got to be one of the best nail products out there period!

I was never a fan of nail salons, and always look out for subtle sheer shades (Lippmann Sarah Smile was my preferred polish up until this one). This product is truly fantastic. I used high-end designer brands for nail polish exclusively, so discovered this one on an "emergency". I'm really impressed to say the least, and highly recommend it. First and foremost, the ease of use and convenience is simply amazing. I especially love having it on get-aways and vacations.

The color really does last over a week easily, and pen is small and leak-proof, so I can carry it around for rare touch-ups when I need it.

This particular shade is divine (I like sheer beige too). It's like having french manicure in one step when it goes on a naked nail. Beautiful, neat, lasting and convenient.

Great pen, but this color looks so natural that it is kind of a waste of time to paint your nails. It would be good for guys with toe discoloration, that wanted to get rid of the color without having obviously painted nails. There is a low amount of visible gloss.
