Hard As Wraps isn't cheap I get it on sale at my local drugstore, CVS, or Rite-Aid. But it works like a charm. I use OPI's Nail Envy Maintenance as a base coat (one or two coats) and this as the "polish" coat. I finish up with Seche Vite top coat, which hardens and quickly dries the whole manicure. Hard As Wraps is thick and gel-like, really protecting your nails from the elements of daily life, like dishwashing, cleaning, and housework. I won't use anything else as my "polish" coat. This comes in many different colors, but I use the clear because I don't like drawing extra attention to my nails. Don't be fooled either, the color on this is "Clear/Top Coat". If you don't use a quick-dry top coat on top of Hard As Wraps, it will smudge and ding if you do anything before it dries in 30-60 minutes' time. But if you use a quick-dry topcoat, you're good to go after 2 minutes.

Definitely do not shake the bottle roll it slowly between your palms. If you shake it, your manicure will dry with tiny bubbles in it.

I have very weak nails, and no real success in getting stronger nails until I tried this product. After a few weeks of applying two coats, and removing and reapplying every three days, I can tell a difference. I do keep my nails clipped short, which is helpful.

I LOVE this product. I used 2 layers of polish, a layer of hard as wraps, quick dry, another coat of hard as wraps, and quick dry. It had been 5 days, and NO CHIPS. It is slightly wearing off at the tips of the nails, but not chipping so its isn't noticeable. My nails usually chip after a day, no matter what I do. Over the days it had been through showers, several sinks full of dishes, baths for the kids, 2 kickboxing classes wearing boxing gloves (that usually results in chips and/or breaks)and other day to day stuff, I really put it through its paces. The only problem is that I don't like the color I used, but since its not chipped, I dont want to remove it, so make sure you like your color before applying this amazing topcoat!!!!

My nails are natural so they split & crack. It was the first time I'd tried this product so buying it on here for less than instore seemed the right move. This product does help but for me drying time is a must. This just took longer than I like. Would recommend to anyone not in a time crunch.

Super thick formula that kept my nail color and design in tact for a while but half way through the bottle it became gloppy and inconsistent and took forever to dry. the coats were not great. Maybe this needs a thinner formula because i need a polish to not clump up because I have longer nails.

This product was terrible for me. It took over 3 minutes in the microwave, then when I tried applying it, it was hard in no time. I'm honestly wondering if I received a really old box and that's what the problem was. I threw it out and went right back to my wax strips

The packaging has changed. Threre appears to be less wax for hte money and the wax heats up too fast and becomes too thin in this new container. This product was never as good as the extra strength wax that she has discontinued. I'll be looking for another hair removal product after this is gone.

This product arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I am disappointed with the product as the polish only lasts a couple of days and chips easily. It does dry very quickly, so I like it for that reason. Also, easy to remove. Seller is five stars in my book. I would definitely use them again for other products.

I had gotten this for myself after destroying my nails at the salon with sculptured gel nails. Just like the plastic tips, the gel also causes your own nail to thin and weaken. Additionally, the manicurist must "rough" or scuff the nail surface so that the chemical nail can stick, this also thins your natural nail.

I no longer need or want "fake" nails after using this product because every 3 months or so I do the recommended treatment on my own nails and they grow stronger, longer and super fast. This treatment spread up the growth of my natural nails after the artificial nails AND I use the treatment just to keep them healthy and strong. It's fantastic since I don't need to do it as often on my healthy nails as I did immediately after removing the gel extensions.

I still have the treatment that I bought over 2 years ago, the bottles are such a generous size that even with regular use (approx every 3 mo) I still have more than half of a bottle of each step, there are 3 steps.

I am buying this now for a friend whose own nails were terribly damaged when the manicurist let the electric file bore right down to her nail bed. I would not suggest applying the treatment to any "raw" injury, however since he injury took place several weeks ago and is well healed, I believe that the treatment will correct the damage and speed up the growth process, bringing healthy and strong nails forward and will push the damaged nails out to where they can be trimmed away.

I agree with the other reviewer...these are awesome files. I do not do artificial nails and it can be hard to find good files that do that job without roughing up the nails unnecessarily. For some reason they are hard to find now so I am ordering a dozen. I hope they don't stop making them!

I've got nails that, with age or whatever have gone from strong to weak and splitting, so my old standard emery boards were tearing them to shreds. I found these and if I'm careful and don't get over enthusiastic about filing these do the job. I have to keep my nails fairly short, they're not nor have they ever been subjected to salon manicures and fake nail adhesive abuse, so I needed to find something that would work for natural nails few boards out there are made for natural nails. These are, and they're worth the 4 stars, and I'd say they're worth a try if you have fragile nails like mine. Pretty good files.
