These shears have a nice feel to them, seemingly well balanced and comfortable in the hand and when palming. The opening/closing of the blades glides smoothly and with a nice snap. The metal looks like it will last for some time with proper care. These are handy for blending, texturizing, and thinning during cuts. I don't know if I'd feel confident these would hold up in a professional salon, but for the home user they're nicely designed and certainly affordable.

These are just as I expected. They are great for leaving my bangs with a little fringe rather than so bluntly cut.

Shears came in clean, nice packaging so I know it wasn't a returned item. I bought a pair of shears recently through the Amazon Marketplace, but when it arrived, there was already hair on it so I know for a fact, that it was used! Yuck. These shears cost a little more but are great for layers. Great product.

I would recommend these scissors to anyone who wants to cut hair. They're great quality, and work really well. I use them for grooming dogs.
