I usually love Sally Hansen products...but when this one arrived, it was all but totally dried out! I should have returned it, but that would have me investing more than it was worth to begin with. Is there no quality control before these get mailed out to customers?

I saw the review where the person said theirs was dried out and unusable. But I thought Oh that's a fluke, I'm sure it was just a bad jar. NO, it wasn't. When I received this and opened the jar there was a dried white smear on the side and bottom of the jar. And that was IT!! I don't know how long a product of cream has to sit (and in what conditions) for it to turn into powdered concrete. But how ever long it is, that's how long this jar sat there!! I will ALWAYS trust reviews from now on. And I won't be buying from THIS seller again!! I only wish I could review with negative stars!!

This is the last Sally Hansen product I will buy. After having trouble with several waxes and hair removal products I stupidly gave this a try. I bought the white. I only used it on my tips for a french manicure. While applying it it goes on unevenly. I applied two coats. It seemed to dry quickly but when I put the top coat over it it cracked all over. I then applied another layer of white and two more layers of top coat. They very next day it was chipping off of every single finger. The day after that (today) it was peeling off and cracking. I would only recommend you use this on your toe nails and only if youre not going to wash your feet for several days. I would not buy this product again if it was on clearance for one dollar.

I bought this pen for the sole purpose of making neat polka dots on top of my manicures/pedicures and it works great for that purpose. You need to shake it well before using and press down hard on a piece of paper several times until the tip is really covered in paint, then do many test dots on the paper to really get it going. This is because after it sits for a while it can be watery and the paint is not fully in the tip. After properly getting it started it works great for the dots.

For people who complain that these pens smudge off instantly YOU NEED TO USE A TOP COAT! Really, you should always use one to protect your nail polish anyway and I work with kids and am constantly washing my hands and cleaning things so if I want anything to stay on my hands it must have a clear top coat. I use Sally Hansen Hard as Nails for the top coat which kept the dots firmly in place on my nails for 6-7 days. Make sure you let the dots/art completely dry before doing a top coat so it doesn't smudge it.

I would not recommend this pen for french tips or any real designs (I tried a bit just to see and it's very sloppy with thick lines) so for actual "nail art" as promised on the package, NO this will not do it. But for my intended purpose it is great and easy to use. I will get more colors!

This is the worst fingernail polish. It doesn't even last 3 or 4 hours. The minute you wash your hands or shower most all of the polish cones off waste of money!!!!!

I loved this color. It's shinier and more coppery than the photo shows. Very pretty, easy to apply. They are a bit flimsier than the Sally Hansen Nail Polish Strips, which is good and bad. It made them easier to apply but also more susceptible to damage.

I highly suggest using a clear top coat. They still only last about a week, not the 7-10 days as advertised, but I can't imagine them lasting more than 5 minutes without a top coat.

The reasons for the 3 stars are because of the aforementioned flimsiness but also because of the price. By the time you add shipping, it's a bit steep for something that lasts a week at most. I'd be much more likely to buy these more often if they were offered through Prime.

Sally Hansen Pure Scent-Sation Hair Remover Creme for Body, 5.3 Review

As an aesthetician I usually wax clients. However, I have a male client who prefers have his hair removed to the "ripping" of waxing.

I did not purchase Sally Hansen Cream Hair Remover from Amazon. The first container was purchased at my local drugstore and later 4 containers were ordered online at a discount website. The pump on all 5 containers broke so that only a small amount of the product could be used.

Going on, there is no scent. After a few minutes, yes it stinks. But it does work, no burning the skin, redness.

I took the Sally Hansen containers, laid them on waxing paper on the floor and smashed them open with a waxing can to break the pump and get to the product. What I found inside was 1/3-2/3's product would have been in accessible because of the defective pumps. Unfortunately, once each container is opened, the remover is useless.

My search for a good hair remover continues.

I bought this product with the express goal of using it for my bikini area in the summer months. I had used a bikini depilatory called Betty before and had had great results. When I could not find Betty, I decided to give this a try instead. First off, it is not odorless and it does not smell any better than Nair or Veet. My biggest problem with it was that it left razor bumps just as if I had shaved my bikini line. The whole idea of this depilatory is to have a painless alternative to waxing and shaving "down there"...it failed miserably. I'm so irritated by this (no pun intended) that I am now going to wax my bikini line to forgo the painful and unsightly bumps I get from razors and this cream. Do NOT buy this item.

The product itself works great. The dispenser on the other hand is an absolutely terrible, defective design. I have had multiple cans where the straw inside fell off. The product is too thick for a pump like container that they put it in. Most of the time is spent pumping air bubbles out in between small bits of the product. It would be a real time saver if not for the dispenser. The most time consuming part is trying to get it out of the container. I found it best to just cut the top of the can off with a razor blade to get access to the product, however I only did that with the last can and haven't used it since then so I am unsure if that renders the product unusable or not. You would probably have to find an airtight way to store the product after cutting the top off. I'm really hoping for a packaging redesign because the product itself is great.

My nails bend very easily, so I started using this. It works miracles for bendy nails. But you need to be careful with not putting a thick layer on. The white part of my pinky nail just crumbled off last night. It's a stub now. I think the problem is I start with my pinky nails so I have a lot of the product on those nails compared to the larger nails. I have heard on numerous occasions that using this product CAN cause brittle crumbly nails. So I'll start using it more carefully, not using as much on my smaller nails. My other nails seem fine though. They still bend some and are not brittle. So overall I think this is a very good product if you have very bendable thin weak nails.

Here is how you are supposed to use it (from the Sally Hansen UK website as the US version of the site does not give directions)...

How to use:

-Shake gently. Apply one coat to clean, dry, bare nails. Let dry.

-For extra protection apply a second coat, or use as a strengthening base coat.

-Try using it as a 7 day treatment:

-Day 1:

-Apply 1-2 thin coats to dry, clean, bare nails, apply nail polish if desired.

-Day 3:

-Apply a further thin coat over the existing nail treatment / colour.

-Day 6:

-Remove all products from nails (using Acetone Free Nail Polish Remover as this will dry out your nails the least) and leave bare for 24 hours.

-Day 7:

-You may begin the treatment again. Repeat usage will give you the results you desire so make sure you stick at it.

This is the shizz, one coat as a base, your color and a coat or even 2 on top of that and your nails are diamond hard, I mean you can really push on them and they will not bend when you have this stuff on. I think the results look better than gel with this clearcoat, and its easier to apply by far. The ingredient list lists actual diamond powder and titanium. Good stuff, good stuff.

got this today in my mailbox and I am super happy with my purchase! The quantity is great and It's not thick at all like other top coat/base coat nail polishes! I have tried all the high end products when it comes to top/base coat nail paints, but Sally Hansen is THE BEST, hands down! It dries in an instant, and saves me sooo much time! It has a shine which is distinct to it as the coat dries up and the shine lasts long! I will defintely buy this again in the future! I highly recommend this! This base coat is amazing! I bought it once I took my fake nails off after prom, and it helped so much! My nails were much stronger after about two weeks of using it. If you want to give your nails a break, you can also use this without nail polish, and just wear it alone for a couple of days. My nails are much healthier thanks to this polish!

If I could give this less than one star I would. I ordered this item to replace a pair of Sally Hansen Bushy Brows Be Gone tweezers I had bought locally a while ago and recently lost (though, of course, I found them after placing this order). They were the best tweezers I ever usedthese are less than junk. They aren't made of the same material and don't feel or look like what I used to have. I didn't know bootleg tweezers were a thing, but apparently they are. These are NOT Sally Hansen quality, just a cheap imitation. They don't work well at all.
