These tweezers were originally priced at $15 and I hate everyone responsible for creating a product as expensive and utterly useless as this garbage. As other people have mentioned, the very act of squeezing the tweezers closed causes the front part of the tip to open, releasing all but the longest hairs. In addition, the "diamond grip" marketing ploy is utter crap. What it actually means is that the inside surface of the tip is so rough that it keeps the tweezers from closing all the way. By its very design, this product can't grip anything even close to the fineness of an eyebrow hair.

What makes me furious is that there is no way that everyone involved at Sally Hansen wasn't aware of the problem. They just opted to sell it anyway. There needs to be an Amazon Wall of Shame just for companies who show this kind of complete and utter disregard for consumers.

Zero stars. And I shake my fist at you Sally Hansen.

These tweezers look very sleek, are light, and seem quite well made. Until you try to use them. I hope it's just the one I received, but when my wife tried to use these, she found that they simply do not tweeze short hairs at all. When you press the tips together, the back of the surface touches first, and as a result, the tips actually separate a little. The wedge means that you can't use the actual tips to tweeze hairs, and instead can only tweeze longer hairs that reach the backs of the tweezing surface. Maybe a design flaw, but seems like it'd be hard to sell these at all if they have that issue.

It did not even last a single week! At first I was excited about the new look with diamond coating and a tip safety insert, but even the tip did not stay on. While I was not too concerned about that, I was completely disappointed when two joints separated. I am not sure what was the flaw, but I think they should either strengthen their sealing or make the base thicker. Basically, the item is now worthless, and I felt like I should warn people about that.

Better stick with a Revlon brand tweezers (not associated with either companies).

it is good for sensitive skin. you don't get any irritation. but since it is like that it also weak. i should have figured that out. so you don't get all the hair off. but i think it will be good if you have fine hair or just need a little hair off. you can also probably use it for maintenance to keep back stubble. that's what i'll probably do. it is not for a major hair removal.

I have been cursed with leg hair that, with shaving, got thicker and coarser and darker as the years progressed. 22 years ago, I gave myself a wedding present...waxing the lower leg. I have never put a razor to my lower legs since. Hardly any hair grows on the inside of my lower legs anymore. BUT, trying to wax the thighs was extremely painful. Razor shaving became increasingly a problem...THEN I found Sally Hansen's Spa Gel Hair Remover for Body. A God-send. Not only was the hair re-growth slowed down, as promised, but the hair was finer and sparser when it did grow back, and much lighter. Wow, I thought a few years ago, I think I will try a wax strip on my thigh...none of the extreme pain I used to experience on the occasions of trying a test wax strip. I have been waxing my own legs for a little over 6 years now and my thighs for 4 or 5, however having reached the half-century age, my flexibility has diminished and I cannot reach the back of my thighs for waxing. The Spa Gel works beautifully for this area. It also does a great job around the bikini line, which I cannot wax myself at all. I cannot imagine using SH's "Spray-on Shower-off" product for this area. And UNDER the arms...fabulous. It has reduced re-growth in time, quantity, AND color. That is, it grows back lighter (was virtually black). I always leave it on the maximum allowable time. And, I have found the key is a THICK LAYER.

Even if it takes the whole tube for one hair removal treatment, at around $7/tube it is well worth it. Just make sure the layer of gel you put on is THICK!

The only downside is that it is getting harder and harder to find. I have the feeling that Sally Hansen may have discontinued it. I first found it at Wal-Mart, but they discontinued selling it. Then I found it once at our local CVS...I bought all tubes on the shelf, and they never re-stocked it. Could not find it even listed on Sally Hansen's web site today, but did find it with one of their online vendors. Have just purchased another dozen tubes. Hope they have this many in stock.

This product simply doesnt work for me at all. Ive used several delipatory creams over the years but this has got to be the worst performance wise. It was discounted at my chemist and now I know why. I tried it using a fairly thick covering, tested it at 7 mins ( as suggested) nothing came away, left it for the maximum time of 15, still nothing. The next time I tried it I put on a super thick layer, left it for 20 minutes, not one hair budged. I do not have particularly course hair, other creams work for me. This product is rubbish.

I love this color, Grey Area #330, but the picture on this item (at the time of this review) is a magenta color, and Grey Area is a kind of charcoal grey with a tiny cast of purple in certain lights. The bottle color looks slightly lighter than when it dries on the nails. It is super glossy and when applying, it is pretty thick, I only need one coat.

What junk. Goes on nice and soon as your hands hit the water it peels and cracks off. How OLD is this polish? It does have a shelf life. Smelled of mildew!

Once you get the "knack", these are so easy to put on! Just don't do what I did initially! I thought each package was for each hand........... wrong! Do NOT open both packages until you are ready to use them, because they will dry up, and you can't use them. Also, when you find the right size for the nail you are doing, and after applying and trimming it off, turn that strip around, pull the end off, and place it on the same finger on your other hand. I wasn't doing this. That's why I thought each package was for each hand! What a dope I was! LOL!

So overall, I love these!
