I hate the color purple but I absolutely love this color. I find that you still need a top coat with this although with this color I like to go without it seems to take away from the dimensional color. It does last a few days before it does chip though so if you are like me someone who changes their nail polish often then this will be perfect for you!

It's a little bit of a darker color purple but I have already gotten compliments.

The bottle of nail polish that I had received was not clumpy. Maybe that was luck. If your bottle arrives clumpy you should be able to add a few drops of clear nail polish and shake.

I bought this because it was cheap and I've always thought Sally Hansen was a respected brand, but it turned out to be a lesson in "you get what you pay for." The color is fantastic, but this is some of the clumpiest nail polish I have ever used. I can normally do a pedicure pretty quickly, but it took me forever using this stuff, as I had to keep removing the polish and starting over because of all the clumps. Maybe I got the bottle that had been sitting on the store shelf forever, I dunno, but I'll probably just go with another brand next time I buy polish.

couldn't get these to stay on my nails even with cleaning and buffing before hand. The ones that did work out looked fantastic. May wrk better on ladies with longer nails.

This is a very interesting product-and when I saw it, I thought I'd try it out. I have had a salon gel manicure in the past, which completely peeled off after 3 days, so I knew I didn't have much to lose.

First of all, no, it doesn't look like a salon manicure, but it's pretty close. I would say you need to be pretty well coordinated enough to be able to get the gel strips on both hands neatly. This is the hardest and most time-consuming part. Since my nails are short, I could use one strip for two nails.

Then the gel polish goes on, and you use the lamp for each nail one at a time. I'm not sure why someone said there was a short in the lamp-if it's defective, return it. When you push the button at the top, it goes on for 30 seconds, which is the required time for each nail. Then it goes to stand-by (or shuts off) until you push the button again. (I think the entire process took me 30 minutes).

The best part for me is that if any corners start to peel, I can re-polish and re-cure with the lamp, unlike the salon manicure, which cost me $30 or so-only to have it gone and no way to replace it without going in again. I see that the gel strips are not very cheap, but I plan to use coupons at local stores when I need to get more. It looks like the gel polish will last for awhile.

I needed this because my nails are weak and I just wanted something to look nice and perhaps help them grow. I'd say TRY IT. It's a fun and unique product.

Overall impression: Lasts slightly longer than a regular mani, but nothing like a real gel one.

Pros: Easy to do, especially if you aren't good with clean lines. Looks nice while it lasts. Easier to remove than a real gel manicure. Not messy. Price. If your nails aren't too long, you can actually use 1 strip on two nails.

Cons: LED has a short and doesn't stay on. Peels slightly about a week in. CAN chip, even with a few top coats.

I think this is an instance of "You get what you pay for". I would have given them 3 stars (maybe even 4), but the lamp doesn't stay on consistently. This is a real problem since you can only put one finger in at a time. You can fix the peeling by filing it a bit and applying another clear coat. However, the chipping (which isn't terribly frequent) just is what it is.

I bought this kit at Walmart for $25. Shell We Dance looked like a cute pink color but when I opened the strips they were so pale it hardly looks like you have color on your nails. The package says lasts 2 weeks without chipping well it lasted maybe 2 days. Horrible product wouldn't recommend buying this.

I had purchased this item years ago and it was wonderful, however after many years of use, the top portion of one of the blades broke off. Upon receiving the new nippers....they were dull. I sent them to the address on the package only to have them returned as the company left and left no forwarding address. I went on the Sally Hansen web site and discovered that Sally Hansen is really owned by Coty and the new address for returns is Coty Us LCC, 410 American Rd. Morris Plains, NJ 07950; attn Sally Hansen Consumer Affairs. Have not yet retuned the damaged or dull nippers...let's hope Coty/Sally Hansen, honors the warantee....

I bought several pairs of these years ago and absolutely loved them. As time progressed, they became missed place and/or lost so I purchased several more just a few weeks ago. I these little clippers because they fit in all of my purses side pockets regardless of size. I work with a lot of paper and no matter how much lotion I use or vitamin E oil, my cuticles and nail beds tend to be dry. I never know when I might need to clip them so I love being able to carry a pair of clippers in purse to use at any time.

I've never had a problem with painfully dry cuticles until recently. A friend had some cuticle oil at work, I tried it and it worked, but I didn't really like the oily residue that it left behind on my fingers, where you shouldn't really wipe it off. So when going to buy something different I went for a 'cleaner' product.

Overall I am pleased. I've been using it daily for about a week and it has improved not just my cuticles, but the nails themselves feel healthier, the definitly look shinier when I am done.

The texture, I think, is perfect. It is somewhere between a lotion and a non-sticky paste. The one I bought has appricot extract, I'm not sure if they all do, but it is a pleasing scent.

I'd reccomend buying this

I have historically had really dry, rough cuticles and have tried several cuticle lotions/oils to correct this. I happened upon this product and decided to try it. It has a much different texture than anything else I've ever tried... it is similar to a wax as it first goes on, but as you leave it a few minutes, becomes more liquidy and completely absorbs into the skin/nail after about 5-10 minutes. It made my cuticles so soft, and my nails beautiful and shiny. Some people have complained about the smell, but I really liked the smell... plus, I think it's meant to be used at night so you can absorb all the conditioning effect overnight. Definitely love this product and would recommend!

I have really bad cuticles that bleed and tear which, in turn, cause me to pick at my fingers and ruin my nails. I decided to buy some cuticle cream to help keep them moisturized. I originally bought some cuticle cream of a different brand in a stick form, but this didn't last long and I ran out within a month. This cuticle cream was the second I bought. It lasted much, much longer, kept my nails just as moisturized if not more, had a pleasant smell, and was priced much more reasonably. It took awhile for me to get used to the product, but I believe that this is because the particular tub I bought was old and took some time to make malleable. Still, I love it. It really helps my fingers feel better moisturized. It comes in a nice little tub that I can keep on my nightstand or in my purse. Though the product is orange, it doesn't turn my fingers orange; it only leaves behind a nice scent of apricots and a bit of oil, which is easily wiped off. Great product and I highly recommend it.

In the winter I struggle with dry cuticles, painful hangnails, and generally tattered fingers. I bought this cuticle massage cream because it was inexpensive and didn't seem like it would be too oily. I've found that it works great, and really does repair my cuticles and gets rid of the hangnails. Plus, the smell is very nice.

The only drawback is the texture of the cream. It's very much a paste, not creamy at all. If I'm not careful, the cream gets on my fingertips and can be difficult to fully remove from surfaces I touch.

1st of all I must admit I strayed. I have been using these for a couple of months and love them. While buying groceries today, I saw the Kiss Nail Dress and loved the design so I bought them and immediately tried them. I did not realize they are just stickers and not real nail polish. Needless to say after about an hour they began to peel off. A few hours went by and others started to lift away from my nail. I wasn't doing anything but reading my Kindle Fire, so I know it wasn't anything I did. It has now been a couple of hours, I removed all the stickers and reapplied my Salon Effects. Now I know I have about 3 weeks before I have to redo my nails, and even then it is not because of them coming off. It is ony because as my nails grow out, you can see too much nail at the nail bed. I always apply a top coat to the Salon Effects so I don't know if that is why they last so long or not, but why question perfection and easiness. I will say when I first started wearing them, I watched an ameteur video on youtube and the person did not follow directions. Be sure to watch a video from Sally Hansen and follow all steps. Very important.
