I love this product! I hope they continue to make these, even though they now seem to be pushing the gel strips.

These strips last at least 8 days, sometimes 10. They're so easy to apply! And they actually help my nails to grow, because I can leave them on for so long and I don't need to use remover so often.

These are really great. They were a bit thinner than I expected, but they are still pretty easy to get on. The color looks very matte in the photo, but it ends up shiny like regular nail polish (still lovely, though). So far they are holding up great and I am not gentle with my hands regular manicures last about 3 days for me.

I decided to try them and was pleasantly surprised. I'm a single woman that has to mow my own lawn, do the dishes, laundry, clean, and I work. Just normal things like that make it impossible for me to wear any type of nail polish; within an hour I look at my nails and get stressed out from worn off polish. Manicures are a waste of money for me because polish never lasts and I refuse to do acrylic because of all the weird chemicals. Plus, I don't have the patience sitting at the salon forever by myself.

I grabbed these and put the houndstooth pattern on at my desk, which is in a cubicle. There was no polish smell, so no one knew what I was doing. Later I got so many compliments, confusing people that didn't see my nails decorated in the morning (because they weren't). It's been 3 days already and they look perfect---no chips, the stickers are all still there like they were in the beginning. It's the first time I've ever been able to have my nails look nice without regular polish, which always comes off almost immediately for me. I didn't even really follow the directions, reading it after I put them on my nails. I just washed my hands and stuck on the stickers, filed the tips off and wha-lah! Perfect. The little tools that came in the package are all that you need really.

This is a wonderful product which I intend to use forever. I'm tossing all my old nail polish since all that stuff is worthless to me now.

I have ordered several sets of Sally Hansen Salon Effects and find that they are great buys. These packs are much more expensive in retail stores and the online price is far more acceptable. They come with instructions on how to apply them and I have had no difficulty in putting them on. They look cute and I have received many complements when I have them. They last me between 1-2 weeks (I do not do any difficult work with my hands though, but I do wash them extremely regularly because of my work). I find that the quick application time is great, as when I apply regular nail polish I often end up smudging it because I don't have the patience to wait for it to dry completely. I do still put a top coat on top of these every time I apply a set. Additionally, most strips are long enough that you can use them for two nails if you cut them in half first (I do not grow my nails out too long, compare to your nail before you cut them so you don't waste a strip). I find this way I get two sets of nails out of each set.

They are a bit difficult to remove and take a little more time to get off than regular nail polish, but considering the short application time I think it is worth it.

Sometimes Salon Effects nails go on smoothly and stay on for nearly two weeks (sometimes longer) and look fabulous and snag compliments and all that jazz. Sometimes they tear when applied (and it won't be just one random one, it will be the whole box that has a tearing problem) and then they start peeling almost right away. It depends entirely on the box. I will say this: my mother is a frequent user of this product and has had more hits than misses, but those few bad boxes greatly discouraged her from continuing to purchase them. I think they are great if you can get a good deal on them because then if you do get a dud box (perhaps a box that sat in back stock for too long, or something like that) then it's not such a financial loss.

I really like Sally Hansen nail strip, are easy to apply and with a layer of clear polish they last a week, BUT I used different models (all Sally Hansen) and after maybe 6 weeks my nails were really damaged they just break in a funy way (vertically), so now I stop using nail strips till my nails grow for like a moth and then I will use this only for special occasions. But they really looks good, I got a lot of complements!

These are easy to put on. They last a while only if you're not doing lots of dishes and cleaning. Though, to remove youll need pure acetone to be able to remove fast. I like to put them all on and even sometimes just on one nail or cut them and just on tips.

This is a very interesting product-and when I saw it, I thought I'd try it out. I have had a salon gel manicure in the past, which completely peeled off after 3 days, so I knew I didn't have much to lose.

First of all, no, it doesn't look like a salon manicure, but it's pretty close. I would say you need to be pretty well coordinated enough to be able to get the gel strips on both hands neatly. This is the hardest and most time-consuming part. Since my nails are short, I could use one strip for two nails.

Then the gel polish goes on, and you use the lamp for each nail one at a time. I'm not sure why someone said there was a short in the lamp-if it's defective, return it. When you push the button at the top, it goes on for 30 seconds, which is the required time for each nail. Then it goes to stand-by (or shuts off) until you push the button again. (I think the entire process took me 30 minutes).

The best part for me is that if any corners start to peel, I can re-polish and re-cure with the lamp, unlike the salon manicure, which cost me $30 or so-only to have it gone and no way to replace it without going in again. I see that the gel strips are not very cheap, but I plan to use coupons at local stores when I need to get more. It looks like the gel polish will last for awhile.

I needed this because my nails are weak and I just wanted something to look nice and perhaps help them grow. I'd say TRY IT. It's a fun and unique product.

Overall impression: Lasts slightly longer than a regular mani, but nothing like a real gel one.

Pros: Easy to do, especially if you aren't good with clean lines. Looks nice while it lasts. Easier to remove than a real gel manicure. Not messy. Price. If your nails aren't too long, you can actually use 1 strip on two nails.

Cons: LED has a short and doesn't stay on. Peels slightly about a week in. CAN chip, even with a few top coats.

I think this is an instance of "You get what you pay for". I would have given them 3 stars (maybe even 4), but the lamp doesn't stay on consistently. This is a real problem since you can only put one finger in at a time. You can fix the peeling by filing it a bit and applying another clear coat. However, the chipping (which isn't terribly frequent) just is what it is.

I bought this kit at Walmart for $25. Shell We Dance looked like a cute pink color but when I opened the strips they were so pale it hardly looks like you have color on your nails. The package says lasts 2 weeks without chipping well it lasted maybe 2 days. Horrible product wouldn't recommend buying this.

I was looking for a product similar to the Neutrogena "Instant Nail Enhancer", which I can't find any more. The Neutrogena product actually did seem to make my nails stronger and more resistant to snagging and breaking.

This product is just a clear nail enamel. I don't wear nail enamels because they damage the nails. I don't really think this product will strengthen my nails it just makes them a bit stronger due to having a layer of stuff on them.

Plus, it has a very strong acetone odor that persists for a log time up to an hour. If you are used to wearing nail enamels, this might not bother you, but I found it very unpleasant.

It is easy to apply, so I gave it two stars. It's not a bad product for what it is, but I was looking for something different.

I like the all in one brush idea ( easy no mess). I was using another brand and when i needed to replenish my supply, I couldn't find the item. the store I originally brought them discontinued the brand. I then (on a hunch) looked on Amazon for the same type treatment and what do you know I not only found it, I also found another product (same package) for growth treatments. I will always purchase them from Amazon. My nails thank you very much.

This delivery system is really easy and fast when you use a clear product. I use it for fingers and toes to get and then maintain healthy, stronger nails. It's not super shiny, but it is what I would consider a polish and not an oil based, rub in treatment. It does what I need it to.

It takes about an hour for the wax to completely melt. I can say this wax is a better version than the kind that came with the warmer when i first bought it. I do wish i could order 1 pack and not 2 at a time! I still have some learning to do but I don't blame it on the wax.
