I give this serum 5 stars, but if I could I would give it more stars. It is just amazing! I got it in the mail several days ago, but I didn't get to use it until today and I am just so glad I ordered it. My hair is really damaged from coloring it and from flat ironing it so much and I have purchased so many different products and I thought why not try this one. I applied it right after flat ironing my hair and my hair felt so smooth instantly and frizz-free. I love the smell too! It smells great! I truly recommend this serum!

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I am a frequent at home wader. I have experience with a variety of brands, including Nads (which is okay but possibly the messiest), a variety of Sally Hansen products (which are ALL completely worthless), and SurgiWax (my absolute FAVORITE brand which has NEVER let me down). Ive used a few other Veet products before this one, and have found them in general to be more reliable than Sally Hansen but less dependable than SurgiWax (which I highly recommend).
I was really hopeful with this product. Ive had some good experience with this brand on occasion, and I lived the idea of the mess free self heating dispenser. However, I am very disapointed. Had there been more strips and better instructions I would have given this four stars. However, those two issues resulted in a frustrating experience (and an incomplete wax job).
Packaging states that 24 strips are enclosed. Thirty six would have been nicer. However, I didn't even have the 24! My box had only twelve strips. This is not enough (especially tor those who, like me, want to wax "everything").
Once heated (and that takes FOREVER) you will have to leave it plugged in if you want it to stay warm longer than 15 minutes (instructions forbid use of extension cord). Theshort cord make this awkward to use while plugged in, though.
The instructions are surprisingly useless even though they contain A LOT of words. There's no indication of how thin to place the wax (VERY) or if you should re-swipe an area with wax to even out wax (DON'T) or if you should pull strip immediately or allow it to set for a moment (IMMEDIATELY) . (Ive found waxes to vary widely on this immediately -or-wait question.) After trial and error to answer these questions, the wax went from "doesn't work worth a flip" to "okay but not perfect."
Another instructional flaw is the supposed heating time. It suggests 30 minutes, or possibly up to 50. It took me an hour and a half to achieve a workable wax.
Overall, I would say this product is okay, and I will hang onto the dispenser in case Veet formulates a better wax for it. I might use this again, but overall im disappointed. However, I just ordered my usual SurgiWax stripless was (14$ for three 4 oz boxes---cheaper and it works better).
ONE RAVE: the included Veet Perfect Finish wipes are INCREDIBLE! They feel great and clean wax better than anything ive tried! Would recommend those highly.

I have fair skin (I'm the "sometimes tans, usually burns" skin type) and blonde hair, which ranges from basically clear in some spots to light brown in others.
PROS of this kit:
The self-warming facet of the applicator is nice. One of the worst parts of home wax kits is the repeated trips back and forth to the microwave...not to mention the fact that it's easy to get the wax too hot if you're nuking it.
The fact that you can simply roll the wax on is convenient. It's pretty easy to keep the wax from getting on parts of your body where you don't want it.
CON of this kit:
It doesn't work any better than any other home wax kit I've tried. I had it at the proper temperature, applied it in the proper direction (with the grain), ripped it off against the grain, etc.
I tried it in 3 different areas--1, the bikini area; 2, the front of my shin, where the growth is sparse but individual hairs are thickest and easiest to pull out; and 3, the outside of my calf, where the growth is thicker but the individual hairs are thinner/fairer--and each time, it removed only about 25-30% of the hair.
OVERALL:
I don't think it's a terrible product, but given how poor the success rate was for removal, I wouldn't spend money on it in the future.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program Getting my legs waxed at a professional salon would cost me $60 every 4-6 weeks, or possibly more because it seems like my leg hairs grow back extremely quickly. I've experimented with a few inexpensive at-home waxes that I occasionally pull out from under the sink to try again when I'm not feeling like shaving. When I read the product description for Veet Easy Wax, I thought, "Great! This should be simple and straightforward to use." Unfortunately, it appears the wrong directions are listed on this site, so I want to make sure you all know what exactly you will be getting. This easy wax system requires you to plug in the device, which warms the wax. You then roll it on the area to be waxed, and remove it with the strip. Because of that confusion, I have reported it and hope Amazon changes it.PREPPING
The wax roll on kit comes with one cartridge of wax only (refills for this are currently $10.69 on Amazon), and it is 1.76 oz. To heat it up, you place it inside of the electrical warmer and plug it into your outlet. A red light goes on, and that indicates it's now warming up your wax. You leave the cap on while it is warming up. It's recommended that your hair be between 1/2 and 1/5 inches long, and that you may want to lightly powder your skin before applying the wax.
THE WAX
It takes longer than 30 minutes for the wax to heat up. At 40 minutes, I decided to try it but wish I had let it heat a little bit longer. As recommended, I rolled the wax onto a piece of paper first to test if it evenly applied. It didn't, which is why I let it warm up for the additional 10 minutes. I tested again on a piece of paper and still it didn't apply evenly. I decided perhaps it might work better when rolled over my legs. Inside of the cartridge, the wax is Veet pink. When rolled onto my skin, it turns clear and I could hardly make out where I was supposed to press the hair removal strip. I followed the directions and rubbed firmly in the direction of hair growth and then quickly pulled off the strip. To my disappointment, only a few hairs actually were removed; I had patchy results and most of the wax was still stuck onto my skin. If I do decide to try this wax again, I will see if I have different results when using a powder. Once you wax a place, you aren't supposed to do it again, even if hair still remains.
THE STRIPS
The box clearly states that it comes with 24 strips, but it only came with 12.
THE PERFECT FINISH WIPES
The wax kit (if you choose to continue using it) should provide you with several waxing sessions, but there are only four Perfect Finish wipes. I wish it came with more, since this is the only part of the kit that actually does what it is supposed to. However, baby oil works just as well at removing the wax.
FINAL IMPRESSIONS
I'm not new to waxing. I've used Nad's No-Heat Hair Removal Gel, 6 oz (170 g) (sticky, but gentle on sensitive skin and doesn't require any prep time), Roll On Milk and Honey Wax Women Wax by Nair, 5.7 Ounce (rolls on evenly, but I still had too many unremoved patches; it also cleans off skin very easily), and now this Veet kit. After having a horrible experience with Veet Cold Wax Strips Face, 20 Wax Strips and 4 Wipes, (Pack of 2), I should have known to not even bother with their body wax. Do not waste your money on this product. I wish I had the perfect wax to recommend to you in its place, but I haven't come across it yet. I'm still optimistic, though!

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program Prologue: Having never waxed before, I was eager to test this out. I'm no dummy, so figured I could do this pretty easily, although perhaps not at a pro-waxer's level. Oh, how innocent I was.Chapter 1: I have tried, on three separate occasions, to use Veet's so-called "EasyWax" kit, but it has tried, and then pushed way past the threshold of, my patience. The single, largest problem is in heating the wax. To put it simply, it doesn't work. The directions (which aren't that all that helpful, I might add) say to plug it in for thirty minutes, with the possible addition of ten to twenty more minutes, for a total of fifty minutes. Well that wasn't hot enough to get it to roll smoothly. I didn't have the time to wait longer.
Chapter 2: On the next occasion I let it heat for an hour and a half, checking on it periodically. Still no go.
Chapter 3: On the third try, I left it on for THREE HOURS!!! Did the wax finally roll smoothly? No, it did not. While I did attempt to wax during this trial, the results were dismal, probably due to the wax not being hot enough. So there goes Veet's claim that it keeps the wax at the right temperature and it's simple and easy to use. Ha! It may have ripped out three hairs (maybe) and left my skin sticky and irritated. Yeah, thanks for nothing. Luckily the Perfect Finish Wipes work well and I was able to clean myself up easily. What do I have to do next, leave it on for five hours? Ten?! Well I honestly doubt I'll give this another go, it's just not worth the irritation. Three strikes and you're out, Veet!
Epilogue: I ended up shaving.

I received this product complimentary for testing and review purposes from Influenster. I was very interested in trying out an at home waxing system. I thought that this product worked well and so far has impressed me there are however a few things that I think could be improved. First off--you need to give yourself time to get it done properly. You won't be able to complete this in a quick 15 minutes, you need to let the wax heat up and it took about 20-25 minutes for that. I would also provide more strips since I have wax left, but little strips maybe double the amount? Just a suggestion. I definitely will use this in the future since I thought it was quite well for an at home system.Thanks again to Veet and Influenster for allowing me to test this new product. I suggest if you are looking for an at home kit to try this one on for size, not a bad price and quite a nice system.

12/15/12: I did my nails with this one week ago, and my nails are still in perfect condition. I used it on Sunday, but Monday morning the polish peeled off of 3 nails when I took a shower. I had put too much polish on them, and it did not stick well (obviously) plus the polish kind of looked "bubbled" under the polish. Part of the polish came off, and I peeled off the rest. I cleaned the nail with some polish remover (given with the kit), and redid them, being careful to put thin even coats on. It worked perfectly fine, and all 10 nails have held up well since. I am brutal on my stuff wash dishes, dig plants, use my nails to scratch up stuff, etc, and the polish has stayed on for a week now. I bought this at Rite Aid, and am happy to see it available on Amazon too :). Hopefully more colors will be available soon! This is very easy to use and like normal nail polish. Recommendations from my experience: shake the heck out of the polish bottles, do 4 finger nails and then the thumb nail separately, use thin (but sufficient) coats, follow all steps. You need to use the top coat for it to get hard. If they do bubble and peel like mine did, it is very easy to redo.

I was uncertain about buying this there were some negative comments made on other websites about the polish coming off, etc. Regular polish really has about a 15 minute life expectancy on my nails before it's nicked or scuffed. And in a day, regular polish is chipping off I'm very hard on my nails.Finally, after 2 weeks of pondering, I took the chance. I followed the directions (almost) exactly. MY mistake is that I missed removing a bit of old regular polish on one nail along the side. The old color is a bit darker and now it shows through. That was totally my mistake.
It's a step by step process. All the bottles are numbered 1-base, 2-polish and 3-top coat. Do one hand at a time. Remove old polish. Gently use file provided over nails. Use a cleaning wipe to remove any dust, etc. Shake all bottles well before you use them. Apply base coat and use lamp. Apply one THIN coat of polish and use lamp. Apply another THIN coat of polish and use lamp. Apply top coat and use lamp. Wipe top coat with cleaning wipe to remove any sticky residue. Do other hand. Ta Da!
Words of caution directions specifically state to make sure you don't have base, polish or top coat on your skin when you lamp them. I don't know why, but I did make sure.
It also gives instruction about removal, which I haven't done yet. It's a wet cotton ball and soak process. I read on a website that if you lightly scuff the top coat with a file, it will allow the remover to penetrate easier. Seems logical.
It's been 5 days now. Not a nick, scuff, scratch and they are very, very shiny. I am very pleased.
UPDATE: I lasted 7 days without a chip. On the 7th day, the polish started to lift slightly on one nail in the corner. I could have left it and it would have been fine, but I was anxious to try another color. Removal was done with cotton and foil (see youtube sally hansen video) and it was super easy. I'm on day 9 on my second application. One edge was a little worn, so I trimmed it back with a clipper everything still looks good. I think these could go the whole 14 days.

Just finished my nail with this starter kit about an hour ago, and this is my experience so far.I bought the "wine not" color kit and the color on my nail is about 95% close to the color on the box. I like the shiny clean look it gives me compared to the traditional nail polish. I also like the fact that it will save me money in the long run compared to going to the salon every 2 weeks.
But here are the reasons why I hesitate to give 5 stars. Since the kit itself says "Salon Gel Polish," I expect to have salon quality finish. But I don't. It doesn't look as good as to the nail salon I been going to. It looks less shiny after I finished my last step which is to clean it with the nail cleanser pad. Also, as I wiped my nails with the cleanser pad I saw some red color on the pad which tells me that the color was not locked properly. Not sure why this happened. I followed the instruction carefully and even put my nails under the LED lamp twice as long as it recommended.
Overall is worth the money if I have to compare it to going to the salon. Is worth the investment if you want your nails to look good for two weeks without the worry of chipping. However, it takes about an hour to get them done which in my opinion is very time consuming.
Anyway, this is my experience with this product shortly after I applied it. I will update my reviews within 2 weeks if I see any changes.

This is my recent update about the product. Is the 10th day that I use this product on my finger and there is a big chip on my right thumb and a small chip on my right index finger. I can tell some of the gels are slightly peeling off at the corner of my other fingers. So compare to the gel manicure that I get in the salon, the Sally Hansen Gel kits does not last as long as the ones I get in the Salon. Still, I do get lots of compliment from my friends and hair stylist, therefore I am keeping my 4 stars for this product.
Here is a tip to safe some money from this product. Instead of buying the Nail Cleanser Pad refills (cost around $5.00 for 20pads) buy a bottle of the highest concentrate Isopropyl alcohol at your local pharmacy or retailers for about $1.70 a bottle and use it with a clean soft cotton cloth. This will replace the Nail Cleanser Pad and save you at least $20.00 or more in the long run. Also, in the nail salon I see them putting the alcohol in a spray bottle and spray them on the customers' finger and wipe them with soft cotton cloth.

The final result is great, however the lamp doesn't last long. I used it twice and half the lights have gone out. For 60 dollars I would think it would last at least until the kit emptied. Now I have half the lights and am holding my hands under the remaining three for like 3 or 4 sets of 30 seconds.I wish Sally would explain that it is a one time use lamp. I figured you would be able to replace the lights.

This product is truly as advertised. My nails turned out beautifully, have lasted for 10 days, and still going strong. I have not had a single chip and the shine is still glossy. If you are on the fence about investing in this product, go for it. You will not regret it.
