Sally Hansen HD Nail Color, Hi-Definition, Byte 09 Review

I purchased this from Target (in store) and this is my FAVORITE new color nail polish for summer. I have a ton of Sally Hansen nail polishes, in all shades and the HD Hi-Definition line is one of the best. The colors really are more vivid and hold their shine well.

This color Byte, is a great hot pink/berry color. It does sparkle a LOT, but the sparkles aren't big. It's not like an all glitter nail polish with a clear base that takes 6 coats to fully cover. More like a vivid hot berry colored polish with a touch of sparkle added in. Two coats and you have a nice rich color.

This line is very chip resistant. With a top coat of clear polish, I can easily go 4-5 days before I get a single flake on my fingernails. My toe nails can go until I take it off without chipping. Most other brands I can't go even 1 day before there's issues.

This color would look great with any skin tone.

I get tons of complements on this color! It's a very pretty, summery shade. It's glittery, but the sparkly bits aren't large. I've always found Sally Hansen to be a durable brand, as well. This polish wears very well. Despite the bright color, slight edge wear isn't immediately noticeable.

My only issue is that I find it a hassle to remove. I feel like I'm trying to rub off sandpaper. It takes me twice as many cotton wipes than plain polish to get it all off. I will definitely buy this again, though, because it's just stunning.

I am so disappointed they discontinued this. It's my fav nail polish. I love the colors in this one. I wish they would bring it back to I can get it at Kmart again.

love, love, love this polish, but so hard to find in local stores..it is a very bright, shiney color and just looks good on my nails. will keep ordering it if I can't find it in stores any more

Beware of buying cosmetics online. This polish seemed really thick, like they get when they've been sitting around too long in the wrong temperature. Color is as described and it works, hence the 3 stars (aka it's ok)

The shade differed from the photo. I was expecting a 'flat' shade but it's more of a 'pearl', which is okay if that's what you're looking for. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with my purchase.

It is good to wear for a day. Like that it dries very hickory. It did chip off by the end of the day. Will try it again a different day.

I love these polishes because I'm too impatient to wait for normal polish to dry. These seem to take about 5 min. to set up completely. One coat looks good from a distance, but if you're particular, you'll want to do two coats.

I had purchased these for my aunt since she has problems finding them in the stores by her. We ordered 5 and all 5 of them came in unusable. They were all dried up and bad. I am not sure if it was just a bad batch or if they were past their expiration date but she was very disappointed that none of them were usable.

For me, this product initially worked fine but after 30 to 45 minutes, the product began to wear off.

In my opinion, I'll recommend others no to purchase this product and look into natural remedies.

i have baught many of your lip products, seems they get more emty every time i get one. when i turn the up screw it takes up over 1/2 the product to even get any out. i just opend the last one and was very unhappy at the contents that was left. no more for me. sorry.

i really like the different colors of this collection but the nail polish is alittle thick and it doesn't last long even with a top coat. the only reason i still buy it is because no one else has produced colors like this. i have looked from orly,zoya,essie and even china glaze doesnt have these colors.

I use it every time I want to make my nails beautiful. being a busy mom I don't have time to dry my nails and i'm not very careful with my nails so regular nail polish just gets messed up really quickly. this one never does and wears longer than 14 days.
