The sally hansen had basically no smell. It says you put it on for a minute then can step in the shower. HOWEVER, you can't get the areas wet while you shower, I thought that sounded impossible since in a shower, the water runs down you, so I stayed out the entire time until approx 10 min was up. I don't even bother checking before 6 min, my hair is never gone sooner than that. Over all, it did a great job. There are a few spots that got missed...must have been the way I applied it b/c it is in a perfect line, so obviously it was application error. The rest washed away, I didn't have to scrub. My skin is very sensitive and it didn't burn or bleed at all. My legs don't feel dry and painful like they have when I have used Nair in the past. It says you can reapply 24 hours later, and I think I'm gonna try to hit those few areas I missed tomorrow and see how it works.
My biggest regret was not paying the extra $ for the Sally Hansen bikini hair removal creme as well. I thought maybe the Nair would work..NOPE and it still smells terrible. I am pondering just using this cream in the bikini area. It says not to use in the genitals, and I am far from those, so I hope it will be ok. Right now I'm bleeding and irritated from the Nair, so I'll wait a few days and give SH a try!
The bottle is quite large and I used about 3 pumps per leg (mid thigh to ankle) and there is tons left for more applications. I don't understand what the little blue scraper thing on the side of the bottle is for.....is it for application or removal? It never really made that clear. I just applied it w/my hands and washed it off with a washcloth lightly in the shower and it came right off.

Always been a Sally Hansen fan from nail products to hair removers. My normal hair remover is the Sally Hansen 3 minutes lotion raspberry/peach in the pink bottle, which is extremely hard to find. Recently I was in need of some so I found myself going to every store with no luck. I saw this hair remover creme and at first I didn't want to try it because I was use to the other hair remover and I knew it would work for me. I wasn't interested in being disappointed especially if I had to pay $12.50. After being disappointed by all the stores from not finding my regular hair remover lotion, I decided to just give this product a try and since I was desperate. I can honestly say that I found a new hair remover... It does the job and in the time it say it does. A note for all: Don't get in the shower because it's impossible not to get wet. Found it funny that they would encourage people to get in the shower with common sense you're going to get wet. Put the creme on, sit out for a while(I leave it on for 10 mins), then get in the shower to remove it. The only problem I have with it is the smell, it suppose to not have a hair removing smell like the other products had or have for years but to me it still do. It gives a nice smell but with a combination of a relaxer smell... maybe it's just me that smell it. Not a big problem since I've been using the other Sally Hansen hair remover lotion the smell of this product is actually better. Definitely a product I would recommend... well worth the price!Best Deals for Sally Hansen Simply Smooth Hair Remover, 13.5 Oz
Picked this up at Wal-Mart. I'm a 18 year old dude who has never used hair removal products before. I gotta say, after being frightened by review after review that my skin was gonna melt off, it went surprising well. I've always had sensitive skin but I experienced no burning, bleeding, crying, or otherwise. I used generous heapings of it all over (didn't want to do another batch... Especially since I thought this was gonna SUCK.) left it on for around 10-12 minutes (I'm pretty hairy) and it worked just like magic. My chest is a little irritated, but everything below the waist is feeling fantastic and smooth. Hopefully this trend continues. Didn't use any on my man-bits or surrounding area. I'll leave that to the razor. That's the one area I ain't gonna experiment in.It's pretty cheap, I recommend you give it a try.

I used this about a week ago and both legs are still smooth and I don't see hair. It says works in as little as 3 minutes but I left it on at lot longer. I think at 3 min no hair was coming off. Did not really check how well it worked with the shower water running as I conserve water and my shower has a switch to turn flow off while shampooing hair etc. I think it was on about 10 minutes. Will buy again.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Sally Hansen Simply Smooth Hair Remover, 13.5 Oz
Can't find anything around here, this is a good price on auto-ship from Amazon.Love this product, smells ok and goes on / comes off easy. The blue thing says it's an applicator, but it's way too awkward.
Use a glove, slather it on, and use the blue plastic piece to scrape it off.
Gets the hair off closely and leaves no stubble that way.
I always used to use those store rewards cards like a credit card to get off Nair. This is the same concept.
