I got the Blizzard blue polish because I didn't have a lighter blue color polish. It is a pretty color and has a great shimmer to it, but it is very thin. It took me three coats to get a thick enough coverage that you couldn't see through the polish to the nail. So if you have enough time to wait for 3 coats to dry, then it's a great polish. If you do your nails in a hurry (like me), you may want to consider something else.Best Deals for Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Nail Color, Blizzard Blue, 0.4 Fluid Ounce
Waste of money. See thru! Pretty in the bottle but worthless for coverage. Might be okay for a galaxy nail look for some added color, but that's it.Honest reviews on Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Nail Color, Blizzard Blue, 0.4 Fluid Ounce
The color is exactly as shown when dry. I didn't even need more than a layer and some tough ups.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Nail Color, Blizzard Blue, 0.4 Fluid Ounce
The name Blizzard Blue definitely doesn't describe the color. It is a very sheer aqua blue color that reminds me more of light blue ocean water, or a water in a swimming pool. Not a frosty color, but an iridescent shimmer color. The shade reminds me more for a warm summer day than winter weather. One coat is too thin, and will come out uneven. Two coats evens it out and will still have a translucence to it, but a very obvious blue shade. Very wearable with two coats. Three coats gives a full blue coverage, looking like shimmering ocean water on your nails. In addition, I apply a coat of clear top-coat on top to help add to the colors shine and protect it from chipping. With 3 coats and a top-coat, I can get about 4 to 5 days of wear before I have any chipping.
