I had been drooling over this polish ever since I first saw it in a magazine weeks ago. I was finally able to get some and it is fantastic. I have found this locally at both Walgreens and Target. The polish applies much easier than I thought it would. It also give much better coverage than I expected. Two coats of this gives you a very nice, thick, fuzzy appearance. You can still see nail underneath with two coats, but you can also still make out the long bar texture of the flakes. This particular color "Tweedy" has black and white "glitter bars". I don't know what else to call them, they are long thin strands of plastic glitter type material (however they are matte, they do not sparkle at all). I personally feel that this is the most sophisticated and refined color in this line. The black and white has a very sharp contrast that just looks amazing. Everyone that sees this polish on my nails always comments on it and ask me where I got it. I hope Sally Hansen decides to add this polish to their line permanently instead of just as a limited edition.

Just a note: These are super hard to remove. I had put on two coats and it took me 30 minutes to get it off my 10 nails using regular strength nail polish remover. I had applied the polish only to my bare nail, perhaps it would have been easier to remove if I had used a basecoat first. On the plus side these seem like they will stay on for a long time and not chip.....

This product was fantastic. It was purchased as a gift and was exactly what was wanted. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a unique nail polish.

Even though the title of the product line is "Fuzzy Coat," the plastic pieces in the mix are a bit scratchy, so you won't have "fuzzy" nails. The visual effect is cool though. The nail polish dries quickly and very hard so the scratchiness combined with the hardness makes it a good choice for someone who constantly picks at their nails or bites them you probably won't want to be doing those habits with this polish. It certainly discouraged me.

I used a base coat of white before I applied the Tweedy. I'm thinking of trying black, dark metallic green, or metallic burgundy next. The Black and White Tweedy is good for applying on a wide range of base coat colors. I wouldn't think about applying it without a base coat, however. It takes too many applications to cover the nail with all the little pieces so it's completely covered and looks like the model's nail in the ad.

The Sally Hansen Fuzzy Nail Polish was NOT what I thought it would be. Need some product improvement. Totally not as advertised.

This stuff looks cute in the bottle but I strongly advice you not to buy it.

Every other website reviews haven given it a poor score because

1.) It begins to chip within a day and

2.) You can't remove it with nail polish remover.

I had to a salon to remove it and they had to file it off.
