The trickiest part about using nail stamping (for me) seems to be finding a color that looks good against another color, with only a single coat use the wrong polish and your stamp won't show up at all! Silver Sweep works perfectly in this regard. It covers well in a single thin coat, and even when stamping over a darker polish it really pops and appears as a solid silver. It also dries very quickly (as the name indicates) so you don't have to wait too long to put your top coat over it.

It's not super sparkly and can look streaky with all over application (I have other silvers that work much better as standalone color), but for my nail stamping fun it is fantastic.

The silver color was much darker than I expected, though it dries very quickly on my nails-within a minute. Once dry, however, it tends to chip very easily. If I apply a second coat, it doesn't help much with the chipping. Perhaps a clear-coat on top would help, but that negates the benefit of a quick-dry polish. The wide, flat brush tends to pick up a lot of polish at once, and even when wiped on the inside of the bottle, it tends to drip.

For the price, it's decent.

In the past, whenever I tried to do my nails myself there were always problems. Something would occur between applying the nail polish and waiting for it to dry since I always ended up with smears, lines and other blemishes. Before I actually went out to buy a nail drying machine, I decided to follow a friend's advice and use this nail polish. I was told it was a miracle worker but I had my doubts. Consider me converted! This nail polish is the best stuff ever!!

You will need to add two coats for it to look good. It applies evenly and dries within a minute (I give it two to be extra sure) and you are good to go. I can pick up keys from inside my purse, change clothes and even style my hair without any fear of blemishes.

This nail polish is worth every cent! I use this color when I want to be dramatic or match my silver jewelry. I always add the clear coat nail polish in the same product line as a top coat for extra protection and it works like a charm.

Got this for the sole purpose of using it as a stamping polish & it didn't disappoint me. I only wish the bottle was larger :)
