I have not had any problems with stray hairs, extreme pain, bruising, or tons of wax residue left over like some of the negative reviewers had. Here are some of my tips (for bikini/brazilian) that I've found work best. This might not work for all people, but hopefully some of what I do may help some of you.
1. If you plan on showering before you wax, wait at least 2 hours before waxing. If you're like me and take hot showers, your skin stays moist for a while. The wax doesn't adhere as good if your follicles and hair shafts are moist.
2. Sit on a towel you won't mind getting wax on.
3. Pat or wipe on a light coating of baby powder on the area you want to wax. This helps the wax stick better.
4. If your hair is REALLY long, trim it to about 1/2" 3/4" inch. Don't trim it too short or the wax won't grab it well. Reason to trim long hair: You want to apply the wax in a section you plan on pulling. If you have long hairs, some of the ones you didn't mean to wax with that application may get caught in the wax and now you're pulling 1 or 2 hairs in the wrong spot and it's painful.
5. Start with small sections at a time and see how it feels before you go crazy and put on too much wax. Don't try to wax a whole section at once. You'll definitely leave strays behind.
6. When applying the wax, apply a thicker amount of wax on the section you plan on using as your "tab" to start pulling. It makes it easier to pull.
7. Sometimes, I'll get wax on my fingers and it gets really tacky and hard to remove. Wait a while, run your fingers under cold water and let it harden. You can then peel or rub it off easier.
8. When you're done and you find leftover wax residue, you can use baby oil or use cool water to help harden the wax particles/pieces and it'll pop right off.
9. The after use towelettes are helpful, but I like to use lavender baby oil instead. It helps calm my skin after all that waxing.
I don't use this wax for eyebrow or lip waxing. The wax is too thick and doesn't grasp super fine hairs that well. This wax works best on coarse hair. I prefer to use the stickier wax with strips or my epilady legend (which I will review in a minute).
Hope this helps some of you!

When I first started waxing, I had no idea what I was doing and would end up with wax clumps stuck to my hairs. If you do know how to wax, this product is absolutely amazing. It takes all my armpit hairs off and barely hurts-it's tolerable for me at least. Armpits are ridiculously easy to do. The private area is more tricky obviously, but as long as you apply in the direction of hair growth and pull in the opposite direction it will do wonders. Baby powder makes a huge difference as well. This wax grips the hairs really well and will remove practically everything. My only issue is that as I got halfway through the tub, it got harder to heat up! The brand new tub was nice and liquidy after 4 minutes, I'd wait a little bit for it to cool to the right consistency and by that point the wax would be the right temperature to apply.
When I used up half the tub it got harder to use because the wax consistency just wasn't the same after heating. Part of the wax would melt a little too thick, and the other wax would still be semi solid. When that happened I'd just stick in the microwave for longer so it became more liquidy, but then the wax would be too hot and cool too fast. I'm not sure if this is because the wax got contaminated and oily from double dipping (it's my private tub, I can do that) or if the wax just naturally gets harder to use after multiple heatings and coolings. It still works fine, it just got more annoying as I worked my way through the tub because when the wax was the right consistency, it would sometimes be a little too hot, and by the time it cooled enough, the consistency would be a little too thick. It was still usable that way though and now I am at the very bottom of the tub.
Overall it's a great product and I'm going to use it again. Worth your money.

I've tried just about every home wax product out there and NOTHING works as well as this product! Other home waxing kits either don't work or are extra painful leaving bruising because it's not effective. Not so with Nair Salon Devine. Pop the container in the microwave and heat according to the directions. Spread on. Wait a minute or two for it to dry and quickly pull off the strip of wax. No more messing around with cloth strips or gooey waxes that don't fully dry.As with any wax hair removal, a certain amount of pain is involved. That goes without saying. Also, like most wax products, there's a certain amount of mess involved. This is minimal and well worth it!
