These Surgi Large Wax Refills fit the old One Touch Personal Roll-On Waxer, the Surgi Wax Professional Salon System, or the Clean & Easy Personal Roll-On Waxer. There are also large wax refills produced under the "Clean & Easy" name that will fit those waxers, but they are difficult for both consumers and vendors to distinguish from the refills for the Clean & Easy Spa waxing system, which are larger. One vendor sent me the wrong type of refill when I tried to buy the Clean & Easy Personal Roll-On wax refills and then could not understand the difference between the spa system and the Personal Roll-On Waxer no matter how I tried to explain it. All of these products, including Surgi, are made by the same company: American International Industries. Replacing the One Touch name with Clean & Easy has caused so much confusion that I find it easier just to buy the Surgi Wax Refills, as they cannot be confused with the spa system and are easier to find anyway.
The Large Wax Refill is 2.1oz (59g) and looks exactly like the old One Touch refills. It comes with a screw-on roller head and 15 fabric epilating strips. That is never enough fabric. I supplement it with strips of cheap fabric that I buy off of remnant tables or worn-out linens that I've consigned to the rag bag. You can also buy rolls of muslin for waxing if you prefer. Heat the wax for 30-45 minutes in the Personal Roll-On Waxer unit. Then roll it on in the direction of the hair growth. Apply a strip of fabric, rub it so it adheres well, and pull it off against the direction of the hair growth (in the direction opposite that which you applied the wax). The large refills will work for any part of the body except the face. The most efficient way to wax is to roll on several strips of wax at a time, replace the waxer into the warmer, so it will stay warm, then apply and rip your fabric strips one-by-one until you've done the waxed area. Then repeat on an unwaxed area.
I've used the One Touch Personal Waxer (which is now indistinguishable from the Surgi Wax Professional Salon System and the Clean & Easy Personal Waxer) for 25 years. It's the easiest, quickest, and cleanest waxing system I've found. I even stuck with it when I lived in Europe, where there are more options in home waxing systems. Pot waxes, even when they have a nice warmer and many wax beads to choose from, are much messier. This type of roll-on wax never hardens completely, though, unlike pot waxes. If you get wax on surfaces or clothing, you can remove it with mineral oil. I have more skin allergies than I can count, but I've never had any problem with this wax. There is no fragrance or anything irritating in it. Ingredients are: Glyceryl hydrogenated rosinate, triethylene glycol hydrogenated rosinate, beeswax (cera alba, cire d'abeille), methylparaben, and propylparaben.

The Surgi-wax refill has replaced the One Touch refills that I use to get. I was not sure if they will be the same as they are made by a different manufacturer but since I can't get the old product anymore I've been buying Surgi-Wax refill. It works fine and I have no problems with it. It still fits in the One Touch warmer.
