I have always had a problem with my nails being a bit thin and weak and when they break they always break way back in the quick, which means an unsightly and painful length of time while nursing the nail along while trying to let it grow out so I can trim it properly and even out the rest of my nails.
Because of that, I used to have acrylic nails and I loved the fact that I never had to worry about them breaking, but on the downside was the cost of fills, the sometimes painful process of the fill in and then the way my nails were just paper thin and uneven for months once the acrylics were removed and the natural nails grew out.
So, deciding that it was better/healthier for my nails and more cost effective for my budget to forgo acrylics and just go natural, I am always trying to find something that protects and strengthens my nails while allowing them to breathe and remain helathy and not becoming weak beneath.
This product seems to be just what I have been looking for.
It applies as easily as nail polish and is not thick or gel-like to provide that protection you're looking for.
It dries quickly on the first coat and requires just a smidge more patience with the second coat, but it still dried alot more quickly than I had expected it to. The results are really wonderful. It is a clear pink color so it makes your bare, natural nail look very healthy and the 2 coats make a beautiful high polish finish so if you just want to wear the artificial nails just the way they are you can do so with confidence. They are really gorgeous.
However, as beautiful as my clean, natural nails look with the protective coats of this product on them, I do like to accessorize with my wardrobe using nail polish and lacquers.
So I painted them up and found that this product provides a glass-like smooth 'base coat' for the lacquer or polish to adhere to, making them perform beautifully. The color goes on smoothly and evenly without any ripples when it comes time to remove the color and the 'artificial nails' it comes off cleanly and without alot of extra cleaning time with nail polish remover.
After I have removed it and washed my nails, they feel strong, not thin and papery like other instant silk wrap products have done in the past.
I am just delighted by this discovery and I cannot recommend it highly enough to others who have had the same problems I have or if you're just looking for a great base coat that provides strength and shine. As a quick, on the run out the door polish, it is phenomenal!

Truly does make my nails hard and almost as durable as artificials! Love the natural pink hue and dries fast. Works great as a bottom coat, top coat or solo.

This is a perfect refresher polish for your nails. This is a simple, clear/pink polish that goes on beautifully, dries suprisingly quickly and maintains it's shine for several days. It makes my nails look clean, healthy, and pink/white. They certainly feel stronger too. I've been looking for an "instant french" type polish I had seen on tv -something easy with 2 coats -and no fuss. In this product, I've found it.
I wear it alone for a light french look or I use it as a basecoat because it thickens my nails and gives such a smooth glass-like base to my polish.

I just started to use this product. Like many user reviews I've read on the net I was concerned about nail peeling and further damage to my already damaged post-gel nails. After reading all of those reviews I decided to first paint my nails with an under/over coat polish (I use Revlon. It's inexpensive and excellent.) I'm hoping that this will prevent any damage to my nails. The product goes on perfectly, altho' it does take a little while to dry (no problem here). The consistency, unlike other products I've read about, is great (not thick). The finish does mimic the shine and depth of gel nails. Another complaint of internet reviewers was that it peels off with 2 coats. I have on as many as four coats since my nails are not only damaged but split beyond the quick. As they grow out I just keep adding more coats and have had no peeling. Another complaint was yellowing of the nail but with the undercoat this is not an issue. This product is quite a deal when compared to the shopping network product costing $30 + about $6 for S/H. If my review changes with use I will do an update, otherwise buy it. It's a great deal.

I am a nail bitter and have terrible cuticle problems. Mainly cuticle problems on my thumbs. I get my toes done at nails salon but am always shacking my head to getting manicure. I am always washing dishes at home and seem to always be putting on lotions or cuticles oils all throughout the day. So I was turned on to this product one day on a random visit to my local sallys beauty supply. OMG is all i can say. Now I started putting it on after a good cleaning of all nail polish or oils. I did this with polish remover. I cleaned my cuticles with nail kit and file. I added one coat of this product and as it dried came back and did second. The next night I did nothing and 2 nights later added another coat and one more on top of 2 previous coats. A few days later noticed nails got harder. So with in a 2 week time saw tips of my nails. I went ahead and took off all coats with polish remover and washed my hands and dryed them and then re-applied and did same routined for next 2 weeks. Well it is a month later and my nails look amazing. I am soooooo happy with way my nails look and feel. Now I will add I cant normally grow nails because my hands stay in dishwater because my family is super lasy(lol). So I figured crappy looking nails was my fait. Nope I love this product. It is a little pricey but let me say it is so worth every penny. I actually also use alot of sally hansen products in addition and this is going so great I got my 13 year old who is a nail bitter to grow hers out. Ladies get this product. I wore artificial nails about 5 years ago and was tempted to get them again until I found this stuff. So I can stand behind it. It does work. Just sit it by your night stand at night and it drys so fast you have no reason to not use it. Good luck andd beautiful nails to you!!!!
