This is the first "Carmindy" inspired make up product I have purchased. On the Sally Hansen website these new products come with a "paraben free" label.
"More than ever, women are increasingly conscious of the ingredients in the cosmetics and personal care products used by their families. Many women are open to product alternatives that utilize natural ingredients, especially if they do not compromise product benefits. A group of chemicals called Parabens are widely used as preservatives in the cosmetic and personal care industry and some women prefer to avoid products that utilize Parabens.
In response to this consumer demand, Sally Hansen has developed a new line of Paraben-Free cosmetics called Sally Hansen Natural Beauty. With the introduction of Natural Beauty, Sally Hansen now offers advanced cosmetics with great product performance and natural attributes."
I purchased the Natural Shine Lipgloss because it promises not to be "tacky sticky or gooey" I personally hate lipgloss where I feel like I just slathered peanut butter, or some kind of horrific flavored snot on my lips. I have to say that the smell kind of confused me for a minute or two, but I figured out that it smells just like honey which isnt that pleasant sometimes. The feel of it? glossy, slick, not sticky or tacky, but a bit gooey. This particular shade is a clear one, meant to just add shine, but I found that it doesnt stay on for long, and the shimmer isnt very pronounced. I am happy that its all natural products, and that makes me happy to have it on my face but I wont ever buy this again, at least in this shade.
