If you're wanting a top coat that has a lot of sparkle this is it especially in the sun it's very eye catching. Some of the other reviews mention issues with chipping but I haven't noticed anything. I have very thin nails so manicures usually begin to chip in 2-3 days for me no matter the base coat or top coat is used. When I wear this alone it usually lasts me around 5 days before I notice any chips. Overall it is worth the money but keep in mind it is more of a top coat than anything.

I adore this color. I love it so much that days after seeing it at the store, I was thinking about it and finally had to buy it. Now I wish I hadn't wasted the money.

The polish is bright and fun, and I actually like it better with just one coat (so it's sort of translucent rather than being solid). However, like a lot of other reviews have said, this stuff chips off almost immediately after application. At first, I thought maybe it's because I'm not very skilled at polish-wearing: that is, I don't become all dainty in an effort to keep my polish from getting ruined. However, this stuff began chipping off -while I slept. Forget about working while you have this stuff on; the polish on one nail came off in one solid flake today.

My recommendation would be to use this stuff if you just need it for a couple hours. Going out to a party, or maybe to the bar with some friends? Perfect! Just don't be surprised when you get home later in the evening and find patches of it have chipped off.

I have this in the Showgirl Chic color. It is a superfine silver glitter that also has teal glitter mixed in. The teal bits are a bit bigger than the silver, but only just. I had on a teal pearl polish, so I layered one coat of this over. The effect is really cool. It looks as if two coats would cover completely. I put on a top coat of Perfect Formula in the clear formulation. Even the cheapest polish will be chip-free for at least a week under Perfect Formula, in my experience. The top coat smoothed out the glitter texture, and added a little extra shine to it. I would love to get this in several colors. Next time, I will put it on with no colored undercoat, and see how it looks.

I was looking for a glitter polish that stood out from the rest. Sally Hansens Show Girl Chic is so far my favorite glitter polish. It's not chunky. It doesn't take 5 coats to make it look solid. It is a stand alone polish, not one that you would use over another color. This one has a slight hint of blue flecks that gives it a little pop. The texture is different from other polishes, but add clear coat and that smooths it out.

For me, it stayed on pretty well. I am pretty rough on my hands and it held up. Of course I like to change my polish every couple of days so it's lasted almost a week.

If you like glitter and bling, you will love Show Girl Chic.
